Eat smaller portion & spread it like 5 to 7 times a day. Like that ur metabolism will b higher & u'll feel hungry faster compare eating 3 main meals a day. Eat clean & low fat.

Why? There is nothing wrong with having more fat in your diet so long as it is not trans fats. Fat makes food taste good and helps make you feel full. Eggs, nuts, cheese, milk, olive oil, meats all have good amounts of fat and are great additions for a body builder to have.

Oh and your metabolism does not increase by eating more times a day. Eating more often usually (not always) helps avoids hunger pangs which is why some people like it. Others do fine eating only 2-3 meals a day. If you IF you eat just have 1 big meal a day. All of them work - It comes down to what works for you.

Eat as many or as few times a day as you like. At the end of the day it is the number of calories that matter.

Eg. Eating 7 meals a day consisting of 200 calories each only comes up to 1,400 calories. Pffft. Waste of time, inconvenient and counterproductive. You would be better off eating 2 meals a day with each meal having 1,500 calories so it adds up to 3,000 calories a day.

Whatever you choose, it comes down to calories. Learn how many you need a day, choose a surplus and work on eating foods that help you reach it.

If you have trouble eating sooooo much then I suggest adding milk, sugar-free peanut butter, and nuts to your diet. Drinking 1 Liter of whole milk a day can provide you with about 600 calories a day. Just 30g of almonds (roughly 24 almonds/a handfull) provides 165 calories. 1 tablespoon of peanut butter is about 100 calories-who doesn't love a nice thick spread of peanut butter on toast?.

So just adding a liter of milk, a couple handfuls of nuts and a slice of peanut butter toast to your diet can bump up your intake by more than 1000 calories.

Google calories of foods. There are dozens of good websites you can refer to. Good luck.

i also have this problem once. the key is to increase your appetite first. dont look at it as something u have to force urself doing.. how u do it? well.. you have to plan what u want to eat. make it a routine. and eat whatever you like. dont care about how dirty it is. you like eat ramly burger? eat ramly burger twice a day. u like pizza or fried chicken? go ahead and stuff ur mouth. just make sure it got protein and carbs.. as u eat more start putting heajthier food to ur diet.. sweet potato, oats, eggs, whatever.. but that comes later.. whats important is to increase the appetite first. once u build the appetite.. u dont feel like eating is so troublesome. u just get hungry more often.

The biggest McD meal I ever have is two burger sets, usually big Mac + quarter pounder and whatever the two comes with. I can never have the appetite for the meal above.

But in 2-3 hours I would get as hungry as before the previous meal. laugh.gif

i'd replace the big mac for the quarter pounder simply because there's more meat and less bread.

the last time i binged on mcd like that, it was free entertainment for the people sitting around us.

i think in the kopitiam forum, there's a burger challenge from burger kaw kaw. 6 burger kahwin in 20 minutes or less. i've no further idea on the details of this gastronomical event.

I tend to get bored pretty fast so that's why I took two different burgers.
Sometimes I replace that burger with nuggets, but that doesn't fill me up for long.

Hehe, I know how that feels. Once in a restaurant eating alone, I ordered so much by the time I'm done my table was full of empty plates, and only I have been eating. The waiters and other customers stare at my table with that, "holy s***" kinda face. laugh.gif

6 burgers in 20 minutes? I can't possibly challenge that. I'm a slow eater. tongue.gif That would take me at least double that time.

i'm a really slow eater myself. i used to count the number of times i chew to try and get to 120 but that just too long so i think now on average it would be about 40 bites sweat.gif

it's quite funny when you're at a mamak and order 10 eggs because (in my case) the guy taking the order usually assumes that you meant to say '1' instead of '10' which leads to me having to repeat myself multiple times followed by hand gestures to show him that when i say '10' i actually mean '10' by showing all of my 10 fingers at him. biggrin.gif

In my case the waiter always asks if the other orders are take-aways. laugh.gif
