Finally changed my tyres after drove for 56k mileage. This few week doing some survey on tyres and today already made decision which tyres to choose.

Say goodbye to Goodyear Ducaro GA. bye.gif
Attached Image

Welcome my new tyres, Yokohama C Drive 2. wub.gif
Attached Image

Each tyre cost me RM 180 x 4 = RM 720. Changed my tyres at HT Car Care Service Center, Kajang. Fast and reliable service.
After payment is settled, straight away drive home using common route, and found out the road noise slightly reduced. thumbup.gif
Tomorrow will drive all the way to office using same highway and test out the road noise at high speed.

Biasa la, aunty drivers sleep.gif

I also often encounter Myvi drivers who drive their car like a hot hatch. Last nite, again on MRR2, see a white Ah Beng Myvi with spoilers zipping across lanes and overtaking cars like a boss. I see his body roll like crazy everytime he swerve into the next lane, I quickly stay far far away.

Not shooting Myvi drivers only, some Gaga and Dugong drivers also the same. But at least they dont look like they're gonna tip over.
*
Oh ya, when you talk about body roll, remind me of spring. This evening I asked that tyres shop guy about the FLX stiffness, he drive my car around nearby, and told me that stiffness caused by the absorber. He said either I remain that absorber for high speed stability or change to oil based, sacrifice stability but gain comfort. Anyone changed their absorber to oil based and any recommendation where to change it?

*
I would go for comfort, because lately drive like uncle style. Already give up high speed driving style. tongue.gif
I believe different people, different characteristic. Some prefer stiffer absorber, some prefer soft absorber.. blush.gif

How do you find the highway stability now?

Currently with stock absorber, I found that driving at city is stiff, while at highway very bumpy.

I need help from CVT driver out there. I need your help to prove my theory.
I found some method to lower down the FC. From idling to 80kmph use D, when reaching 80>, switch to SAT mode because the ratio will fix our speed=rpm whereby it's more economical when driving above 80kmph. And switch back to D mode when you cruise below 65kmph.
I just did once and my FC improved by 6%. I'm still doing that method currently at new full tank to test that method.
