Can't remember whether its asrul posted it. Car stationary with D engaged consume more petrol than N despite rpm is lower on D, due to excess fuel being pump in to load the clutch/torque converter.

QUOTE(zeone @ Dec 7 2012, 09:03 PM) Hi Bros... Pak Z1, if memory serve u well, masih ingat kah masa melampau your ole GaGa if terpump gas pedal sebelom stat, you'll get the same shit, very hard to crank stat Yr Gagas also kena? Now me getting worried liao... Since got car, me kena 1X. Still dun kno cause of prob even till now... Crank a few times, it started but died after few secs! Then a couple of long cranks & it fired to life! Till now NO prob watsoever at all!! Prob with electronically controlled car systems...? Seems so common these days in modern EFI engines... Meanwhile, don't know about engine oil can affect crank up the car |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Oct 29 2012, 11:55 PM) This is typical electronic problem. Plug in the key, step on the brake(do not release until the car starts), turn key to ACC(2 tick from OFF, 1 tick before kick start) wait for few seconds, move gear lever from P to D, from D back to P, then crank start. Few of my company FL got this problem when reverse parking forgot to put back P then off engine When engine got cranking sound, meaning NOT starter problem. Its probably fuel cut off. I try to imitate the sound, you see whether you hear what I hear: Wuekekeke vroom = start normally Wuekekekekekekekekeke = no fuel supply Wuekekekekekekekkekek.... kekeke(faster).... kekekekek(slower) = petrol over flow Weeeeeeeeeeeeee = Timing belt putus(engine already gone, so as your wallet) Tik tak tik tak = Starter relay sound, normally starter KO Wuek... Bin Bin Bin Bin(car horn alarm) = Bateri weak ...............................(no sound no light no nothing) = Bateri kong, you probably left the headlamp on overnight You can even start a car without engine oil QUOTE(sg999 @ Dec 7 2012, 09:20 PM) Ady said so damn many time, wet spakplak lok. Dun understand cantonese ar? Soli I mean England DO NOT TURN THE KEY TO OFF!!! JUST LEAVE IT AT ON, REST AWHILE THEN RECRANK AGAIN!!!! If kenot stat, you go turn off key, then turn on again "TEEEET", inject somemore fuel, again kenot start. Turn off again, turn on again "TEEEEET" inject somemore U see u wanna believe or not lar. If dun wanto believe I also dun force geh. If ask other mechs, most probably they tell u stater plobrem lar, this rosak lar that rosak lar. So just go ahead and do lor. Who knows may be they're right leh |

QUOTE(kidmad @ Dec 7 2012, 09:29 PM) Haha okay... that's too much for a mistake lol. Anyway if engine oil is low.. does the ECU stop you from starting the engine? or they still allow you to start the car and jalan? In my case my savvy always use all the oil one.. but this mech send over normal service he return my LM oil... in quite significant amount.. 1 day after service ady have this problem.. go home pour all in.. never again face this issue.. In fact on the 2nd day i faced it twice.. first time can't crack up.. 2nd time half way jalan jalan at subang suddenly sei for.. and the engine oil light up. urs is isolated case, & not relate to engine oil oso. car was driving suddenly die fire meaning ignition weak or dieded/low fuel supply/spakplak times up/fuel regulator dieded/injector sumbat & many other facts, quite confirm low engine oil is not included, unless....last but not least, i suspect ur case was ngam2 that time ur fuel channel got bubble needed a bleed, or so happen dirty. as bubble gone/terbleed than ma auto fixed itself lor. |

QUOTE(zeone @ Dec 7 2012, 09:42 PM) Yup, Bro! The good ole carb days... Live with it. ALL cars will have occassion when parks wet, unless its an electric car Still embedded in dis ole grey matter! Haha! TQ! Any way 2prevent such a prob in our "modern" EFI engines? Or hv 2live with it? QUOTE(zeone @ Dec 7 2012, 09:42 PM) Wow, a very kwai apprentice...but feel more of one w/o any mech basics? thats his first assignment.actually magician ady showed him how to open sump nut, then filter. the kid just drained it & supposedly refill 3litre first then cek dipstick In such cases, feel the Sifu is partly 2blame wan.... Me hv personally encountered an apprentice (only a teenager) who was told by his Sifu 2remove my ole Saga alternator for replacement. (It was overcharging that time) That boy juz stood at my car! Not doing anything! Me asked him why? His reply? "I dun kno how 2remove the unit!" His very first time!! So me asked him why he nvr asked his Sifu. And he told me the Sifu wld scold him if he were 2ask! His Sifu expects his apps 2find out by themselves how 2do any job assigned 2them!!! Only then me realised my car was gonna b a REAL white mice!! Phew! NEVER wanna go back 2that shop anymore!!! |

QUOTE(kidmad @ Dec 7 2012, 09:47 PM) Impossible la.. Service a day before.. next day got this issue. Fill up the remaining oil more than 2 weeks nothing happen? won't be so ngam. Fuel channel? i did nothing from combustion chamber to petrol tank leh. why need bleeding. i said isolated case bro. it could be, might not be. theoretically, your engine oil does not have anything to do with your combustion, neither electronics besides the engine oil indicator light. HOWEVER, I do not believe and will not believe Gabby has a function to stop user to abuse the engine with insufficient engine oil. Because the previous owner left the engine running dry for don't know how many weeks already QUOTE(rangeseven @ Dec 7 2012, 09:47 PM) Sending outside will always leave Plotong an open window to say NO to your warranty QUOTE(dares @ Dec 7 2012, 09:48 PM) I tot someone sold 1 malaysia brand for a blardy fork pasta I like the autech just because I like it, can't compare to worth or not and or power output afterall. QUOTE(kidmad @ Dec 7 2012, 09:29 PM) Btw, you already said jalan jalan suddenly die fire, that means its something wrong with either the fuel/fuel line/fuel pump/ignition. May be just so happened that tank of petrol not really favoring You wanna try engine oil light up after sei for? Go borrow someone's manual car, pull the henbrek, release clutch on 1st gear without gas pedal. Your engine go die fire, then engine oil indicator ma lite on lor I hope you don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to argue with you. So happened this is the 2nd time I'm standing on the other side jek |

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Dec 8 2012, 10:40 AM) Aiya, if u all still remember my case few weeks ago, is exactly the same...my mechanic also said the same thing, he crank for a minutes before engine started finally, imagine if the batt is not in good condition, 1 minutes will enough to drain the battery into dead mode. Normally if first crank can't start, just rest the ignition switch awhile. Then crank again, if still kenot, rest it again. The 3rd time only hard carnk |

2 way u can do.
1) Go down push the cover in, get someone pull the lever, then release the cover whilst level is tertarik. 2) If No1 won't work, like dares suggest, get someone pull the level, u get a screwdriber to kiaow the cover. After dig the cover out, you need to readjust the lock a little bit. If got fren work in makat shop, they know how to adjust cable. 3) Cable sudah patah |
