QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 24 2012, 02:40 AM) I got them mostly from UK and Germany sellers on eBay or bricklink. The 8154 set is the most expensive one cost me about rm300. It is the biggest set ever for Racers tiny turbo series. The same thing on eBay they asking rm700+. |

Currently I stored my bricks in the Lego branded storage box (got it as CHristmas present). Already feel the limited space even I only got little spare bricks |

QUOTE(alanyuppie @ Dec 26 2012, 09:07 AM) Yup and when for each closed door, there are dozens more waiting to do our business =) alanyuppie kor, i see you are MOC guy so you need more bricks in bulk than our normal lego collectors. What puzzles me where you get so many bricks from? But one lil trap I always fell into is the lots qouta. If we pick too many different parts from different lots, they will surcharge us. SOmetimes I feel so hand-itchy when I pass by the table in Lego which they put tonnes of bricks for children play. Wanna grab some from there ... sinful..lol |

QUOTE(The~Joker @ Dec 26 2012, 09:21 PM) I don't usually order custom stuff, but for TDKR (and some other movies), i ordered some firearms. I am a fan of guns too.. Spot on bro! Here are some: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 3 M16 rifles with shotgun and grenade launcher attachments, one m110 sniper n XMP rifle. They are from BrickArms . The best custom guns. I have an extra of this pack, if anyone is interested in these, just pm me. DO you know where to get those black color minifig? May I know which seller on Brickarm you bought the weapons? Added on December 26, 2012, 10:53 pm QUOTE(aba9785 @ Dec 26 2012, 09:11 PM) hmm...maybe we should be 'complaining' to lego more often... maybe 1 person per week. Maybe we should go together TRU malaysia office and submit a memo to express our dissatisfaction.just to let Lego know there is lots of business opportuinity/market here? what do u all think? Speaking of that, what happen to the so-called Lego shop @ Bangsar VIllage? Instead of expanding, I saw it has gone shrinking the Lego choices there!! And there were no customer except me . At this rate they are going to close biz soon This post has been edited by maldiniho: Dec 26 2012, 10:53 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(ckseong80 @ Dec 27 2012, 10:37 AM) I think it should work both ways if they want to gauge Malaysia's public response to a stanalone Lego store. totally agreed. If they are serious about this and price the Lego competitvely, we are more than happy to part with our hard earned money. They have major advantages over online seller since we can physically touch the box, feel it, and bring it home immediately without going thru that annoying shipping period and running risk that our package gone missing along the wayThey should also provide a good range of Legos at competitive price. Pricing them so high with half empty shelves won't get them far anywhere in the world. By the way, don't we already have standalone Lego stores like Brickboys? Still not too sure what they want to achieve with their experiment. Many to see how many poor parents they can slaughter?? Brickboys are slightly better than TRU nia. In fact their shop in Tropicana Mall is a "half lego half other collectibles", the item offered are so little. Maybe we as Lego collectors should arrange a group holiday trip to US/Europe go shopping for Lego ourselves |

Is there any solution to lit up the Lego buildings at night? has to be authentic lighting (i.e. light in each room), not just put up one spotlight on top of Legos

wow. really? in Legoland Johor we can buy whatever loose brick we want? Is it cheaper comparing ordering bulk from Bricklink?
Do they have the specialty bricks too? like those bricks with slope, inverted slope etc. Really need those for my "ruined building" diorama This post has been edited by maldiniho: Dec 31 2012, 11:52 PM |

Any reason why this couple is so expensive? The lowest I can find is RM40 each. They are even more expensive than those rare Series 7/8/9 minifigures.
ANyway, I bought them anyway. Too cute to give them a pass. Attached image(s) |

QUOTE(acougan @ Jan 9 2013, 11:05 AM) hmmm..... RM40/ea!!? i believe their set 9465 RRP was RM179.90. sometimes it is better to save up and buy the whole set or wait for used sets. Yeah, I was thinking to get the whole thing but really don't have room/use for other parts. So just get those two. Btw, the Jack Hammer minifig from the very same set is dirt cheap, RM15-20 can get already. Maybe people have a soft spot for the "unhuman" being. lol By the way, I have got this Series 9 Heroic Knight minifig today all the way from UK. Still the price is cheaper than the Zombies!!
