Yes biggrin.gif Thank you, could I know how much does it sell though ? I always thought TRU doesn't have any LEGO stock, at least according to the website.

@maxilife1

Haha which is weird since they'd bother to update their copyrights on the website but not really the content.

@2015315

biggrin.gif Thank you for the info. It seems like the price is most likely fixed now.

@others

Thank You all biggrin.gif I am very happy with this LEGO Club as they are many helpful members out here.

Here's my little story of how I got introduced to LEGO

I loved LEGO and I remember the first time I saw them when I was at a friend's house, I loved it so much that I tried my best to search for LEGO around Seremban and was really happy to find my first set was Red Indian, bought at The Store Seremban. Then I bought the Cowboy or Wildwest set at The Store Seremban as well. Just when I thought I could pick another LEGO set, which was the Police, The Store Seremban decided not to sell sets but parts instead. Since then, I tried to search for another store in Seremban and even Toy r Us back in 2004 or 5. However, I couldn't find the set that I desired. Due to this, I finally gave up and kinda left LEGO for almost a decade until now when I found out they are more and more stores selling LEGO, be it e-store or retail store. I feel with all this, I'd be coming back to LEGO this December starting with City Advent Calendar.

Hey lego club members, I was wondering if anyone who live Midvalley is willing to help me to check if Toy R Us still have the City Advent Calendar 2012 ? Do you think they will run out of stock, I planned to either go there by tomorrow or this Saturday but I'd like to make sure they have stock.

Thank You biggrin.gif
Anyway, the reason I can't check personally is because I'm from Seremban.
I've decided to buy the set tomorrow.

US price is US49.99, consider it a good bargain d. From xfrenzy's photo, City Advent is only RM99.90 versus US39.99, also a great bargain!
Now that u guys are talking about advent calendars, I'm also attracted to it now!  drool.gif

It is, I just bought one from TRU MidValley this morning and you really should get one too. I have read several comments on some websites and they said it's definitely better to buy LEGO Advent Calendars than the typical chocolate-filled Advent Calendar. They also mentioned the 2010 City Advent Calendar is the best as it is more focused on the togetherness of a family instead of servicemen doing their jobs, and I definitely plan on getting that some time soon.

@dilvin
Of course, but remember to serve the true purpose of Advent Calendar, it is recommended to be given as an early Christmas gift rather than Christmas gift.
Could I ask you about the voucher and star points ? How do they work, what can I use them for ? As you can see, I just bought the City Advent Calendar from TRU MidValley and I didn't apply for it since I don't know how does it actually works.

wah .. very fast you go to buy .. from Seremban to MV biggrin.gif

BTW, I saw this set at TRU MV (LEGO® City Off Road Fire Rescue 7942) going for rm49,90 ... is that a mispricing ?
i thought it was about rm60 or more previously ?
2 new ninjago booster pack set opened, but JAY is gone ! WTH !

Haha yea biggrin.gif Worry the stocks would be gone soon. It's pretty easy anyway, just use KTM and one can reach there easily.

And I saw that set too, I think it's not wrongly priced, even BrickBastion listed it as RM49.90 http://brickbastion.com/store/road-fire-rescue-p-135.html

@acougan @dilvin Thank You for the info smile.gif and really? I think I must go back there to be a member then, I thought the coupons are only for some non TRU stores, which I rarely used tongue.gif

Okay guys, good news for LEGO Asia fans. No clue if this is an old news or not though.

According to this website,
http://www.michaelpage.com.my/minisite/lego/jobs_lego.html

a new regional headquarter of LEGO for Asia will be established in Singapore in January 2013. Also note that the said 2013 marks the beginning of a new chapter for the LEGO Group in Asia.

Also, not just that they are currently looking for Regional Sales Manager for the Malaysian market. Good to know that the Malaysian market is big enough for them to separate from the others i.e. Indonesia, Philippines and Cambodia.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for establishing LEGO Malaysia

Just clicked the link and wow tongue.gif finally, LEGO Malaysia would no longer be a fantasy but a reality in a not so distant future.

@redframelowyat Thanks for the info. With 2013 being marked as the beginning of new chapter for the LEGO Group in Asia, it is surely an exciting year to be looking forward to ! Where's Aeon BU ?

Also, I am very much looking forward to the Police Minifigure Series 9, that hat is just awesome ! Any Minifigure hunting techniques ? And it's coming January 2013 too, or maybe February 2013 for Asia, but since LEGO Singapore will be officially established in January 2013, maybe there's something in store for us, LEGO Malaysian fans too

All in all, 2013 is an exciting year for us LEGO Asia fans.
