completed my Shell Lego Ferrari! except for the case. Got them all the old school way, decided to skip the roadshow at sunway pyramid and hunt for them instead

C4 = Carrefour

I didn't get to do my truck. My brother wanted to build the brigade with me, so I let him do the truck and I will do the building. hehehehe.
Oh yeah, and it took me 20mins just to sort out number 1 bags.

OMG! You poor fella! I haven't opened the number 2 bags yet... I hope I won't encounter such a thing!

Anyway, will post up some pics too on progress. I only managed to complete 90% of Part 1. Can't wait to continue summore tonight!

I bought them from new zealand... from a site called trademe.... much like our lelong.my and ebay. we can bid or buy now or something like that. best part about it is that you can lay-by for 60 days (put deposit like 20dollars or something and pay balance later). My parents are living there, so they got them for me.

Costs about RM2.5K for all 4 sets. which is significantly cheaper than buying here I suppose! and no shipping charges cos they all came together with my mum when she came back for holidays 2 days ago....

I'm very blessed to have been this lucky! Those 4 are my first full sets!!! Been refraining from buying so many sets (avengers, lotr, starwars) and only collecting minifigures so far till now

And yes, very much looking forward to the palace cinema! and I wish I had the earlier sets like green grocer, cafe corner, market place... but they all costs a bomb now. Green grocer costs as much as the 4 sets combined!

Looking for all modular collectors here, maybe we can make bulk orders with bricklink collecting parts for cafe corner like one of the forumers who successfully collected all parts (with subs) for RM700++ only!

Had to assemble the Fire Brigade cos my brother waited over a month to help me build this...
(sorry for the low-res photos... will take better quality ones later )



Now I'm at work... and all I can think of is to complete the whole thing by tonight! very sleepy at work now tho

The other 3 buildings will have to wait till 2013...

yeah my main problem right now is space, and maintenance i.e keeping them dust free.

completed fire brigade. will assemble the other 3 next year perhaps.

hey lego people!

Happy New Year!! hope everyone's a-okay. Been a while since I logged in... was away for a few weeks.

Anyway, just wanted to share that I've gotten my Series 9 minifigs already



Got them all the traditional way of picit2.... took me almost 2 hours to find all the figures LOL...

Bought them on 26th December 2012... I'm so happy!!! Now I have all the series 2 - 9 minifigs, except the Mafia and Snowboarder from Series 5.... Anyone got and can help?

Oh yeah, I also got 2 Series 1 minifigs (cos I bought the brick calendar hahahaha). Don't think I want to collect S1, it's too pricey. I'd rather get a set of modular or building instead.
