Went to mid valley today. Saw the new chima sets with discounts, not bad. Packaging much streamlined, not with huge box. Stopped over to brickboys toys and saw how inflated the older sets were. 2011 SW battle packs 8084 selling for 150?! Not cool.
Bought this instead. After discounts and further cash rebate. Only cost 190 Not a popular set but got a nice vehicles and everything is white! |

USPS Priority got 2 type.
The smaller flat rate priority box, works the same with First Class, once enter Msia, wouldnt be able to track. risk of lost is high. so make sure dont opt for this if going under Priority. 1st class mail sometimes gets mixed up on some different flights, that shld explain why it gets here faster. once in a while but 1st Class is just too risky, not with US seller, but with local postmen. once they know u keep receiving parcels, they will do some 'hanky-panky'. because 1st class doesnt require recipient signatory and be inventorised. and they can open the package to see the contents, and reseal it back. acting like the parcel being inspected by Kastam Lost rate is 2-3 out of 10 packages. so u can calculate the risk. kastam will check, and they will stamp it.
how do we prevent local postmen to 're-check' again? they can open and reseal with tapes again. we wouldnt know. |

QUOTE(kenny_pang @ Jan 13 2013, 12:50 PM) Our Kastam will stamp "di lepaskan". If Kastam open it for inspection it will be resealed with marked tape. I have experienced this only in 3 of more than 200 shipments over the last 3 years. 3 of 200 sets only are opened? thats very good. all my parcels are opened by kastam. or so called kastam. without official marked sealed. just normal cello tape. so we know who opens them. my advice try not risk using first class usps. |

QUOTE(MaKiMo @ Jan 13 2013, 02:41 PM) In my experience, it is resealed with the a kind of tape with strings in it. Just like what Amazon would use... agree. But so far, you really have to send it using Priority (with tracking and insurance). Airmail is too dangerous for Lego sets because of our itchy-handed Pos-man. they dont just target Lego. Anything that holds collectible resell value, they will try to take. |
