I guess the pricing there will be similar in other local malls/ TRU when they reach there.

btw, the speedorz CARDED priced at 99.90 is at an ALARMINGLY NEW LOW in LEGO for unlicensed set.

reference: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=70103-1

priced nearly rm100, but just 93 parts. that's more than RM1 per piece. OMG. How can it be justified.
*
wrong link.. the rM 99.90 is this link (comes with two bike)

http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=70113-1

but also the same piece count which is 92 notworthy.gif

what i feel is when they start using "new" molds or introduce new stuffs.. the pricing is always slightly higher compare to those using standard blocks.

most probably they want to get back their investment biggrin.gif

speaking of thunder tank.

nice wor....poisonous indeed.

now i better play more, shop less...
*
me small player only, cant afford the big sets have to settle by bricklinking biggrin.gif

QUOTE(musha @ Jan 4 2013, 02:21 PM)
all tha parts only from this shop? salute?
what is the total damage?
usd 38 for all the parts (including wheels) - not include shipping yet biggrin.gif

my estimation if 100% parts for tumbler only will cost around usd 50 (if you're good and patience enough to find all stores)

normally i only search US store only, notice it's cheaper than the rest of the country

u choose usps? or the expedite post?

usually stuff from US (USPS/normal post) will take around 2 weeks to reach here. (my experience la)

this would help out a lot
http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/7888-1

yup.. the current 7888 price is ridiculous high, this is the only way to get cheap tumbler biggrin.gif

QUOTE(maxilife1 @ Jan 5 2013, 04:37 PM)
Follow up on @kaneshiro21 batman tumbler..

it took me about 4 hours from 12am to 4am yesterday to filter out the parts for the tumbler only from the online lego instructions & parts rclxub.gif   sweat.gif

now finalizing & will sarch at BL for the parts..

hope can get all the parts in 1 or 2 store..  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
try putting the big / important parts in wanted list then you can sort "by shop" based on your wanted list. i find this is the only method to search for stores with more than 2 part number

QUOTE(paanjang16 @ Jan 5 2013, 04:42 PM)
Absolutely brilliant!  drool.gif

I have seen people Bricklinking a Cafe Corner, UCS MF etc but this is the first time I saw someone Bricklinking a Tumbler! I really admire the hard work you put into searching for the parts for this set.
*
thanks thumbup.gif

QUOTE(nikongrapher @ Jan 5 2013, 04:54 PM)
probably the first person in malaysia that manage to moc this tumbler .. but i have seen a lot of mat salleh doing it with their own design.

but i do admire the effort and time put into it  rclxms.gif  and i think he just inspire all of us to spent more time in bricking.
*
hehe actually not moc.. i just copy everything from it's original manual blush.gif

yea.. bricking is really a great way to build "obsolete" / "overprice" sets biggrin.gif

TQ kaneshiro21, i will rummage my pile see which parts i need to BL to complete the 7888 tumbler.

that is where the fun part begins rclxm9.gif

btw if you're not building the joker's van, remember to cross check the list with the manual to remove unwanted parts.

*
saw another one bidding at usd 130.00 (exact replica but no sticker) biggrin.gif

that can help serve as a limit if we are to bricklink from few stores.

i'm given up on completing the parts for 7888 tumbler. not having much luck searching those BL stores even with a wanted list.

decided to go with another design that relies mainly on common parts
