agreed with you. thats why i am asking if you guys have any reputable seller / or seller that you guys have work with to recommend to me.

well, the best way is to look at their feedbacks and check their complains.
also it depends on what items u wanna get from seller. Not all sellers selling the same stuff tho...

You don't seriously expect to come in here and have people just spoon feed you with everything you ask for, right? There are some longtime collectors here who have bought from hundreds of different sellers from several continents. You don't really expect them to log in to their accounts, go through all their feedback and try to recall everything just so he can give you information that is nobody but yours to find out.

In the first place, BL is very much a place of trial and errors, so why make a fuss over something like that. Personally, I don't really believe I've bought from the same seller more than once or twice. There's really no 'awesome', 'better' or 'very recommended' sellers or whatnot. It's about who's offering the exact stuff you need and who has it for the best price at the moment. Anyways, no offense since that's just my two cents.

it's not that we dont want to share or tell, i did share about PLAYEXPERT (a BL seller)
he got some of the best lego pricing around... some of us have bought from him before.

somehow his store got closed down late last year (due to no ship issue)
it got sorted few days before new year, just now i went, the shop got closed down again (this time not sure what's the issue)

so i say i bought from this seller, then somehow when u order from him, sh*t happen (he runaway with your money, shipment lost)
hopefully u will not blame me...
my only suggestion would be: try to choose a seller from  Featured Stores/Highlighted Stores/ Honored Stores
their shop is there usually because they are trustworthy n been there for a while.
order, wait for invoice n pray. (that ur item can reach safely)

Wow, I don't know where you got the 100, 1000 names part from but whatever makes you happy man. Anyways helping and sharing is fine and all but how do you expect help when we have no idea what set/part/fig he is looking for in particular? I mean, that's a serious lack of information there. And even if it's just a request for any shops in general, the fact here remains that it is obvious the best prices are listed first and from there you find your way to determine whom you should buy from by ASKING the sellers to quote you the shipping prices so you can compare.

Again, here it's up to YOURSELF because only YOU know what YOU want from that particular seller. Don't know if that made my opinion any clearer to you but that's an opinion nonetheless. Oh well.

PS. Typing out my point of view is no fuss to me regardless of the length. Just thought you should know before you assume further/again.

like I said before, the best would be going thru their profile, read some of their feedbacks and check for their complains.

Different people will encounter different experiences. Some might think that A is good seller whereas some might have bad experience with A.
All in all is trial and errors like ebay. Also do contact with sellers and ask for pictures if there is.

well I do believe everyone here would like to help each others but sometimes if we need help, we do need to have some initiative as well.
Some questions are really too general(too wide) where people really can only give general answers or worse still no answers all so yeah, if were to ask for some questions, would be better to be more specific so that people still understand and able to help.

actually i dont mind saying which seller i have bought, but then i dont get anything from them

furthermore,i think our garage sales there got many nice seller.
that should be the first place to go before going to BL.

there is NO secret nor the purpose of keeping one. The BL search feature allows search by "best price". from the search result... we can knock ourselves out choosing cheapest/preferred seller and what else he has to offers that rocks our sampan.
as for personal recommendations... I have a dozen and no specific "favorite". Even if I mention lets say seller "XXX" my favorite, that seller might not offer what others are looking for (maybe he specialising on parts, not set.. or certain themed sets).

part of the fun in LEGO as a hobby is the scouting/searching online or in shops, rather than "direct me immediately to what I want." . I cherish every moment until the parcel came/unboxing, and assembly .  I heard some got the kicks from admiring stacked MISB toy boxes against the wall

my initial idea was to have our community here helping each other in getting lower price of any set you want.
so i thought it would be good any we can share any seller that we have deal before (of course buying at your own risk).

sometimes just sick and tired of seeing people shooting here and there and once case closes then someone else try to bring back the issue.

5. 2/3 platforms to hold them together.
