Bro, did you try with other tank?
If it happen again, then you need to check your pv contact rubber seal. Sometimes because of defect tank it will melt the contact rubber.

Contact rubber is to separate the + -, if no rubber it go gila.

Usually not hot but slightly warm. But been thru once feel like it cooking my lips... then I checked it's actually Carto defect and I change it, no more cooking lips.

Im using Aluminium tip.
