Alrite, I have a doubt..

If I am able to work part-time in singapore (no PR nor working permit), so theoritically I need to come back to M'sia after 14 days and then only can go back S'pore right?

I heard people saying that we can stamp our passport (to extend our duration of staying) at Lavender without coming back to custom?

We need to put down our reasons for extend, so besides saying "on vacation" and "take care of relatives who are physically unfit", what else reasons could be given? Will we be questioned much on it when we try to extend our stay there after 14 days?

And lastly, I heard that after 2 months of staying in S'pore, we have to come back to M'sia for 1 month before going into S'pore again? Is that so?

Desperately need advises on working in S'pore without PR and working permit...

Thanks! Please, I need serious suggestions.... notworthy.gif

** Topic title and question revised, refer to the bolded main question... wink.gif

thanks for all the information guys, and got most of my doubts cleared.. however, my situation is a bit different here: I only have Int. Passport without working permit without PR etc..

So basically, we are allowed to stay in S'pore for 60 days only within 90 days right? And we need to get our passport stamped each 14 days right? We need to fill in white card with reason of staying right?

Main Ques: So besides saying "on vacation" and "take care of relatives who are physically unfit", what else reasons could be given? Will we be questioned much on it when we try to extend our stay there after 14 days? If we follow the rule (60 days in S'pore within 90 days), there are no other reasons they will prohibit us from staying there right?

Thanks! Hope you all get my doubt and question smile.gif

just to let you know that if you keep going in and out for too many consecutive times on your "leisure" trips, you could get barred from entering for the next 2 years. Its to deter those working there 'illegally'.

I'm sorry to say that there is such a rule where in order for a company to hire a foreigner (like us), they must have at least 3 employees.

Meaning, 3 Singaporean to 1 Foreigner.

I am asking for situation where my company is not even able to issue me working permit.. I understand all the other procedures with working permit or PR, and thanks for all the precious information.. but what I wanted to know most desperately already been stated and highlighted wink.gif

Thanks!

Hmm, how do you intend to get a job in Singapore without a valid working permit?

If I'm not wrong, the 3 Singaporean to 1 Foreigner does not apply to all Malaysian only those from Sabah and Sarawak.

You can check out www.mom.gov.sg.

Does your boss know you will need to leave Singapore after a duration?

To be honest, Singapore is very harsh with working without permit, are you willing to take the risk? I will suggest you going through the proper way by applying Work Permit. Getting a work permit isnt hard as long as you hold a Diploma.

Thank you fLeA for your precious information! wink.gif

There's Employment Pass Eligibility (EPE) Certificate available to be applied, and it allows us to stay in Singapore up to 6 months to find jobs, reasonable enough! Anyhow, still need to go over to process with the application and get the detailed information...

Thanks a million! smile.gif

The EPE cert and the proper way to apply the Work Permit are two different entities right?
