Hi sifus and pros..

I have 2 damaged sport rims from accident(tyre burst when driving at 80KM/H ) which I wanna repair..

1 of them confirm can repair as only very little dent and scratch at the wall..

The other one however I have slight doubt..

Have a look..




Do you guys think that the 2nd piece is still reparable?

And any shops U guys know which provide good service at affordable price?

These are good rims and they cost around RM2000 new around 7-8 years ago so if possible I wanna fix them..

Reason why I love this rim so much is its very light compared to other rims of same size..

Fixed in a shop near Desa Aman Puri. Sent my rims in and found out 1 pc bent seriously and damage while the other 3 is slightly bent. Fixed all and skimmed the side. Very quick job at a reasonable price and I'm lovin it!

Skim side = RM15 per pcs
Fix Rim = Rm30 per pcs no matter how serious(The boss says)
Swap tyres and installation + balancing = RM10
Air Valve(metal type) = RM15 per pcs.

Total damage = RM250.

Process took nearly 1 day(sent in 4.30pm and get at 12pm tmr).

didnt know unker fred do rims too? topic closed though so no idea on that at all

haha.. the shop is still there.. not sure if its the same as this the topic but the location is same.. Maybe change boss already.. Anyway they did a very good job and I'm very happy.

can giv full address? i might wan to recon my rim. jus got slight curb rashes and scratches. but most impotantly wanna repaint it.

Do they provide spare rim for u when u leave ur rims there?
