hello guys, this is my minecraft server, come join my server...

little info about the server;
- started from july 2012, hosted from home (SWK)
- server moved to dedicated hosting around October 2012 (KL)
- about 900+ registered player (in-game registration)
- economy, pvp, jobs, mob arena...
- player consist of malaysian, indonesian, singapore, philippines, hong kong player...

Newbie Guides

we have 48 player slot. but during holiday it usually peaked at 30+ average.

fyi, you can use *non-premium* client to connect.

after install your minecraft client, just add our server address in the multiplayer server list.
our server address is: play.skynetmc.net

once you were in game, you need to register (for dup and fraud prevention).

type register type,
/register <password>

after register please login,
/login <password>

once logged in, you will be on [guest] rank, which is for newcomers. it have very limited command. you cannot build anything with [guest] rank. so you should get a builder rank. to get the builder rank, you need to complete a challenge, just type /builder to go for the challenge. in the end of the challenge, there will be a sign, right click it to activate the rank.

after finished the challenge, you will be rewarded some in-game money, and some other stuff. you can start build your home, shelter, or any building you want. you can either mine for material or buy material from market in town (you can go to town by typing /town).

make sure you build further away from town, to avoid it being grief (destruct by others)

else, you can use a faction (it is like clan/guild) system to protect the area from being destructed/grief. it will cost you $10 to create a faction. each player will have a limited amount of faction power, it will be used for land/area claim. it will also fully regenerate in 1 minute.

to create faction:
/f create <name>

greeting msg, when someone enter the area:
/f desc <msg>

to claim the are where you were standing (cost 1 power):
/f claim

you can also join jobs to earn some in-game money. type /jobs browse
to view jobs list. then type /jobs join <jobname> to join/apply for the job. in-game money will be paid automatically.


Player Rank

[guest] - for new comer, restricted command, need to complete a simple challenge to change their rank to [builder], this is to prevent spam/thrashed account and bot.

[builder] - normal member/player, permitted to normal essential command, can join server even if its full.

[VIP] - donator rank

Staff rank

[builder+] - able to use CREATIVE mode, given to player who like to build awesome building/structure

[patrol] - able to jail/kick player. keep server in justice. low level officer.

[moderator] - higher rank than patrol, watch for player activity.

[admin] - watch for both staff & player activity, highest rank

actually, [guest] cant join server if it is full.

for newbies [guest] rank is given by default. in order to have [builder] rank, you need to complete a builder challenge... (consider it as a member activation)

once completed the challenge, you will be promoted to builder rank. so you can join even when the server is full.
