QUOTE(llsphinxll @ Nov 28 2012, 03:04 PM) um i experience the 3G logo on the top left will go away when im making a call. and when im done with the call, it slowly goes from O>E>3G. I think it more to networking problem, the coverage rather than your iphone problem.only happens when im back in msia using maxis, doesnt happen when i was in aussie using the same phone. so im suspecting its a maxis issue rather than the phone's issue. also, the phone sometimes has difficulties getting 3G internet connection at regions im sure has 3G connection. yeah i think this is the best way to put it. i opted for the 64gb one cos i dont plan to upgrade in the coming year so this shud give a peace of mind till the next interesting upgrade. |

QUOTE(NanaLiew @ Nov 28 2012, 08:54 PM) my friend's mum, who works in Digi in Kuching under marketing department just told me that it should be out in December. She said she doesn't know date, plan or pricing, since she doesn't work in that department, but apparently Digi has already collected payment from many of their platinum dealers who are authorised to sell iPhone but this is what I saw daring...New Apples only in 2013 Cupertino firm’s focus on Xmas deliveries, hit by touchscreen supply shortage Friday, November 16, 2012 - 17:29 by Nadya Ngui Location: KUALA LUMPUR apple MALAYSIANS will have a wait a little longer to get their hands on the latest products from Apple — with the iPhone 5, iPad 4 and iPad Mini due to be launched here only next year. While Apple had earlier announced its latest three products would be available in in over 100 countries with 240 carriers by December, there has been no follow-up dates provided. Even as speculation was rife in several online Apple consumer sites hopeful of earlier delivery dates, several Apple authorised dealers confided in The Malay Mail that any launch date here is very likely to be after Jan 2 at the earliest. One source said this is likely due to Apple, based in Cupertino in California, giving focus to meeting orders for Christmas deliveries in its key markets — given that such revenue is a staple among retailers in the US. Several news reports also suggest Apple may be facing constraints in the supply of its retina display touchscreens — which was contracted to LG Display, Japan Display and Sharp amid the ongoing patent dispute with its former supplier Samsung of South Korea. All three companies are responsible for the first-of-its-kind retina display, where engineers integrated the touch feature into the display screen, instead of constructing it layer by layer. In contrast, while the Samsung Galaxy S II had taken more than four months to reach Malaysia, the electronics firm had shortened the local availability date to as short as 27 days for the Malaysian launch of the Galaxy S III. Source if this were true, then....... This post has been edited by seanlam: Nov 28 2012, 09:04 PM |

QUOTE(Ch3n_low @ Nov 28 2012, 09:49 PM) My friend told me S Note 2 is much better than S3 in term of spec...although former priced much expensive than latter. Well, thats is his opinion. Am yet done my homework on both gadgets.QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 28 2012, 10:56 PM) Those countries available by mid Dec already make known. So I don't think it will be mid Dec in Msia the situation here alike main tarik-tali.... sekejap apple tarik, then telcos tarik lagi.... playing with consumer's psychology... marketing strategy to increase telco cum apple site visits?? Jan is a high possiblity |
