Answering my own question, I found out the problem is due to a bug. If Assistive Touch is turned on, the phone will not go into Auto Lock mode. If Assistive Touch is turned off, then the auto lock will function normal. Didn't you guys noticed the problem? |

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Dec 17 2012, 10:26 AM) I turn on Assistive Touch (that semi-transparent button on screen) for few days already and don't encounter such issue. You try to press the home button using Assistive Touch & don't touch anything else on the screen. By doing that, your screen won't go to auto lock.Default dim screen, then off & auto-lock within 1-2 minutes. However, if you press the home button via Assistive Touch, & you swipe the screen left & right, the auto function will work. QUOTE(hsyong @ Dec 17 2012, 10:48 AM) Same here. It's a bug. I was quite surprise since nobody raised this issue up as this bug might drain the phone battery without user knowing it.Options: 1. Use Assistive Touch to lock your phone. 2. Make sure the last touch on the screen is not Assistive Touch. If you use Assistive Touch to go to Home from an app, then just swipe the home screen or touch anywhere else. Then it will auto lock. |

QUOTE(hsyong @ Dec 17 2012, 11:07 AM) This is just a small issue on my iPhone5 A small but annoying issue Are other 4S user suffering the same WIFI issue like yours? Damn Apple, updates are meant to fix problems & enhance user experience. It seems the iOS 6 made things worst. I was quite satisfied with the iOS 5.1.1 though. |

QUOTE(fiseel @ Dec 17 2012, 01:09 PM) Just got my phone y'day.... but i am not sure if my cable got any problem, coz normally when u plug the port to the phone to charge... there is a sound that u hear and u know it's charging beside referring to the screen rite? but my cable is very sensitive, when i charge the phone, if i accidentally move the phone a bit, I will hear that sound again..... I encountered that on the very first time of charging. After I restart your PC, things turn out to be fine.Same goes to when i plug to my notebook. In fact when i try to sync the phone y'day (from 3gs to 5) my sync was not complete on first attemp because i moved the phone.... if like this is it the cable problem? Shud i bring to maxis to change? |

QUOTE(Ryfelgiggs @ Dec 20 2012, 12:31 PM) Hi new IP5 user here. Did you or anybody else have drain the battery yet? I did this morning. Hard to drain even it still left 1% I thought we are not suppose to fully deplete the battery as it would harm the battery instead of doing good. To perform a deep charge cycle, just use the battery until there's about 10% left & recharge it back to a 100%. Shouldn't it be way?I manage to run youtube for 15minutes + voice call about 5minutes before it dries up. This battery is great for me I guess |

Battery really drains fast... Played about 20 mins of "The Walking Dead" and it zapped 20% of my phone's battery
