mySAP from what i know is something like online HR
that means you may take leave via a web browser and it will be updated to SAP and other services etc etc etc depending on configs smile.gif

eg SAP (on Oracle/DB2) as DB, other data on DB2 and reporting server will be integrated by NetWeaver and used like a single app

im in the HR business so im giving examples as per what i know smile.gif
