I was told tat it's gonna launch tentatively by this week...

But the thing is,I'm actually wondering whether i can install my own windows XP...
(As the price for this model with windows is 4788 )
Since i would have additional 300bucks...I can upgade the ram

Well, if you are going for intense gaming, X1400 is not enough.. But for an average gamer, it should be sufficient... I'm targeting the 5672, which is the 15" version of this model...

bought it yesterday!!! yes! yes! yes! bought it at 4438bucks at 1U, everything is fantastic, the video camera sucks

is it really that hard to install windows in a laptop? is it any different with desktop? in desktop i just boot from cd then format or/and just install over the current windows, that doesnt apply with notebook?

Actually it's the same...all u need is to boot from CD...And let the installer do wateva u need...
But then after u install adi...U need to reinstall all the driver from recovery CD...

hey, did u usually facing probs like slow reaction when u click something like open folder etc etc

what happen and why?

recovery CD? does it comes with the package when you buy a laptop? my friend bought a thinkpad from singapore and the package doesnt include any CD, do you think the vendor forgot to include that? or they usually ship it without CD for drivers?

where got CD

and if urs is the ver wifout windows and pc dos.. drivers are not even provided. haf2 download @ the website urself.

this is the actual model, 5560 model is made of alloy magnesium, shinning lcd pal with rotate 1.3 mega video cam attach onto..a top notch noteboook with all the features i need and fun to explore for more functionalities, and by the way , i am an ex ibm t series user.

i never like acer or any plastic noteboook included lousy toshiba...but somehow fall in love with this acer once saw it in 1u

front left, come with 2 switches for bluetooth and wifi, infrared port and card reader.

the lcd panel is a shinning hard plastic, lcd backcover is made of magnesium as heat conductor..
