Guys.. i would like to transfer my site to a new server. I`ve done with transferring the files.. and now it`s time to transfer the dbase. I`m using Joomla btw.. and i asked in the ir forum. THey told me to use the phpmyadmin and dump into a file and back it up in the new server. Is it right ?

Somehow, i`m a bit blur on the options that should be ticked when i want to export the dbase into my computer. By default, the phpmyadmin screen is as follow:

What options should be ticked ? Thanx smile.gif

Export -> select all

[x] Save as file

compression - zipped/gzipped (if it doesnt work, uncompressed is fine zipping just reduces the file size significantly)

then click on "save"

Change to:
| Lo-Fi Version
0.0174sec    0.53    5 queries    GZIP Disabled
