osram nightbreaker for me is like stock bulb on steroid, unfortunately it lifespan is short, not really value for money compared to stock bulb

May not be the bulb. Sometimes it is the lamp reflector poorly designed, so the lights dont cover the road well.
My dad's old Perdana had this problem. I drove it in bad lit roads and it was terrible.

maybe ur perdana headlamp had been replace with aftermarket headlamp.. my friend's 1997 perdana sei never had this problem..

for dugong headlamp with stock bulb i change to osram 5000k, yup a lot better then stock bulb, when raining the fog lamp is helping the white headlamp bulb.. maybe need to change fog lamp to yellow bulb..

bro, your osram what model and how much? how long did it lasted?

mine's 3300K, still quite yellowish but a lot brighter than stock... maybe going for something around 4000K like this one but with better lifespan
