Maybe.. coz US set come with low voltage ac adapter 110v while Malaysia use 220-240v, so need other charger adapter. meanwhile for Japan and Europe set it does not come with charge adapter in the retail box, need to buy separately. Coz mine was bought when I was in France, and yes i need to buy the charger separately, read the small yellow sticker on the right bottom of 3ds box:

The shop I bought mine was 780 including a local ac adapter (excluding R4)..

Bought mine for 690 including charger. You just need to search harder in lowyat.

how about the shop near the escalator, that aunty hv short hair , i bought ds lite from her for 300 only, few months ago i checked 3dsxl price was 790
