Oh wow the game still survives until getting a new thread .

Eh guys, I just found out that apparently the Asian version of DLC in the PSN is a little bit problematic, people who own R3 disc finds that there game disc is not compatible with the DLC. This is what written on the PSN store "THIS ADD ON CONTENT IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH GAME DISC DARK SOULS BLAS-50397 " - This notification was only added later after lots of people complaining about it. My disc code is BLAS - 50387 which is actually also R3 so luckily I just tried to buy this just now instead of earlier. Will get the DLC from US PSN and inform back to you guys if it works on my disc.

Not sure about the patch, I'm on PS+, think if there's a patch it probably was auto downloaded a while back. On a side note, my game copy was the earlier Dark Soul special Edition when it first came out, I was the few who got an outer packaging stating the game is R1 but the game case inside states as R3 hence why I didnt bought the DLC earlier, worried of this kind of problem because I also not sure what game region mine is because of the packaging .

Ok guys, confirming this as well. My R3 copy of the game works with DLC from US PS store, my character is already in the DLC area, I just continued from my previous save, SL 103, 1st playthrough, havent beat the final boss yet.
I'm using US SEN account and do note that my copy of Dark Souls is labeled as BLAS - 50387 on the side of the game box. The DLC that is being sold in MY PS store is labelled as compatible with only BLAS-50397 game disc, so those who one to buy the DLC might want to check this out before buying.
