well.. mac was set up today... haven't migrated my stuff over from pc.. lots of important mails..

still waiting for them to get me mac office..

overkill i'd say...

definitely so much more stable than my pc...

even with 8 gb ram on the pc.. it still manages to crash at least 2-3 times a day when i'm working on it.. and this is on fresh windows install, all updates and running illustrator and photoshop only...

Now, i'm working on images the size of several GBs and everything's butter smooth...

Next aim is to get a mbp for offsite work... give my boss 1 month rest first then i'll bug him for it..

well.. my boss is the one who went crazy with the upgrades..
Btw, i did use about 10gb ram just now while juggling between 5 different projects.. premier, illustrator, photoshop, encoder..

illustrator and photoshop was working on some huge ass billboard design... premier and encoder on video project..

Storage is never gonna be a problem in my company... lol.. got a dedicated storage server with 16 tera hdd storage as main and another 16 tera as backup..
