yup it's edifier s2.1d, wished the iMac had the optical audio cable. but they had to use their "own" version of it. oh well. the speakers have very nice mids and treble but bass not kick enough - so basically it's nice for jazzy and stuff that is not too much bass. been thinking of getting the logitech Z2300. But can't seem anywhere to haves stocks of them.

perhaps if you do video editing can make use of all 16gb? But I think 8gb should be more than enough for editing pictures (high res - tiff)
