Don't get SSD's from Apple. Buy only Intel X-25M Generation 2 SSD. They are the best. Provide read speeds up to 250MB. While Apple's SSD only up to 80MB.

I'm using Intel SSD and I'm one happy customer.  biggrin.gif
*
i agree with him. the x-25m are the best for now. a very good upgrade if u have the money and can tahan with 80gb ;p

Are you sure you want your remote as small as possible? If they have to put small button then it'll take away comfortability.
*
not as small as possible.. but the remote is getting bigger tongue.gif

hoping to get the orochi this weekend at pc fair. if no orochi, gonna head straight to machines and book one magic mouse. cannot wait nemore.  drool.gif
*
is the orochi already selling in KL? in kuching i found the Kabuto (released same time as orochi) and the Naga (released AFTER the orochi)...but no one is selling the orochi sad.gif

QUOTE(cRazYee @ Dec 2 2009, 06:18 AM)
if kl one maybe you can get, if penang one
one advise just forget it
penang pikom pc fair is like junk market, selling all noob stuff, nothing hardcore, not showing at pc tech! ppl over there are tend to buy peripheral instead of great gadget

-pendrive, hdd, bargain low end lappie, streamyx, maxis.....
*
same here in kuching tongue.gif. prices looks the same. the best deal i found is the seagate freeagent go comes with free dock.

How about External DVD Burners? Oh yeah does the External Hard Drive Support Time Machine?
*
any external hard drives works. just remember to format as FAT32 before u transfer ur files. normally ext hdd are formatted as NTFS, which OSX can read but not write. there are workarounds though, but i reckon formatting to FAT32 is the best choice. u can also format to HFS Journaled but windows wont be able to detect it (which is also a good thing sometimes ;p)

time machine can work with any hdd. but for this u can only use HFS journaled. juz plug in the hdd n tell TM to use that hdd

sorry no comment on external dvd burners, never used one tongue.gif. but its a good idea though since the superdrive is damn sensitive. sometimes if got small scratch on a dvd it wont detect at all n just eject the dvd. the same dvd can play smoothly on a dedicated dvd player
