i just realised that the current Mac Pro is the starting of the aluminium.
even after years using the same design,  it looks still kinda new here.
btw, how do u know which mac u want to use at this desk ?
*
Actually PowerMac G5 was the first using aluminium due to G5 processor which are 'heater' generator.
Very easy...the plasticky feel is the PowerMac, then the steely feel is the Mac Pro..

yeah you got two themes going on here. but enough space to scroll the mouse?  shocking.gif
*
Haha..good question..
Mostly the keyboard at Mac Pro will give way for the space, as below Cinema Display has some space..hehe

Actually this going to be for a while, as PowerMac will retire to my mum's house as multimedia player.. biggrin.gif

Not sure yet. See what old Stevie bringing to the shelf.

The screen is my iMac TV project. The mac connected to it is MacBook Black with white keyboard. Waiting for the black keyboard to return.

Good project..like it.. biggrin.gif
But a question, i do feels Mac display is much more detail than others eg. HP. Is it due to the driver board?

Thanks for the info.

Regarding on anodizing the aluminium Macs, I think maybe can be done locally coz plenty of aftermarket car product produced here was anodized with plenty of colour choice. I did saw some factory at Sunway nearby monash university doing galvanize, maybe they can do anodizing.

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Apr 7 2010, 07:03 PM)
Now this is where I get suspicious... The seller on eBay says logic board to 1st gen Mac Pro, but the image and the part numbers conform to a logic board of a 2nd gen Mac Pro. Basically it's for processors of the Xeon 5400-series a.k.a Harpertown, not Clovertown... Google the part numbers and you'll find out why I said so...
*
I see..but should Harpertown be better than Clovertown?or is it due to availability of clovertown at street market (eg lowyat plaza)?
