i did a test 2 days ago, 10 runs on MP1 in Act1. got 2 keys but i got that at my 8th and 10th runs... so it translate to 20% to get key in MP1... lazy to test on A2 btw...

when you do more run the % will grow near that 10% range (perhaps 10% +- 2%).. if i do just one run on MP1 and it drop doesn't mean 100% to get key there right

but i feel A3 keys is the most consistent to drop..and the keywarden map location is the best.. A2 map is damn annoying...

to do A1: farming? no no as the spread are too wide to cover. KW can obtain after visiting festering wood.
A2: stay in vault of assassins, then oasis. Rinse and repeat as you will be spawn in VOTA again when you restart
A3: follow whatever run you call it.
A4: I don't think there are ppl constant farming A4, but the best place is silver spire 1-2

often 2-3 elites too close together.. and will combined all crazy affixes...

MP0 - 5%
MP1 - 10%
MP2 - 20%
MP3 - 30%

... and so on..

just feeling real funny and strange..
i am not really into farming keys, but rather 'passing by' the place since i am grinding up my paragon lvl. i do meet these key holders but none of them drop any keys when i kill them, i play mp1 (since it is easier and faster) ... i killed them more than 20 times but nothin drop?

or do i need to but the plan for the jeweler first ?
p/s i am still a noobie here .... ....

hearing from u guys i also feel sad about this..

i though the plan was easily dropped since i get it in the first try ...the first day of hellfire ring released....but later on then would i know it was sick as hell....

but after remembering about this matter...i realized that most of the complain about drop rate of the plan occurred after the first maintenance.....

agree.. before that keys drop (MP1 on A1&2, MP0 on A3) very easy... but after that...

Low MP farming for keys and legends? Add me! Love melting stuff hehehe. And I might be wrong but I read somewhere that MP0 = 0% chance of the key dropping, not 5%.

if you dont hv problem farming up to mp3, try go mp4 instead
if you dont hv problem farming up to mp6, try go mp7 instead
if you can go mp9, might as well go mp10.

i have began wondering is there anything i left out during farming...

absolutely... i purposely went back to farm ... for instance,, act 3 , the breached keep, mp1 inferno.. i killed azmo(NV sure already five), and went back to the catapult area, found warden, killed it, no key drop,

Nope. u need to go higher mp levels in order to have higher chance of key drop.
Low mp are good for levelling up paragon but not good for key farming. Please don't expect that you can hit the 10% every round.

my problem is , i had killed the key wardens under these circumstances for over 20 times .... shouldn't i , at least, once get the key ?
