Welcome to another sound comparison starring Edifier S2000 Pro, this time against JBL LSR305. Unfortunately video I recorded for this comparison was corrupted, I could not use it, hence the static shot of two contenders. S2000 Pro is almost twice as expensive as pair of JBL LSR305's, but it offers comparable sound quality to JBL's and adds great build quality and stylish looks as well as host of features studio monitors like JBL can not match. For pure listetning pleasure I would choose Edifier. What do You think about this comparison? Is Edifier worth the high asking price? Let me know in the comments below. Cheers!

In summary, I really like and impressed by the sound quality of the STAX SRS-3100 system. I would rate it 5 stars for the sound quality. Might not be the best option for bass heavy tracks, but impressively very musical for classical, vocal, and audiophile tracks that I tried. In my opinion, the plastic build of the L300 is not really convincing for the price, and in my experience, the shallow earpad is not very comfortable for a long session. If the L500 earpad solves the comfort issue, to be fair despite my personal preference for the design, there is no major issue on the build quality and comfort. STAX SRS-3100 has the sound quality not to be overlooked despite its status as the entry level in the STAX system. I recommend anyone who is looking for a good sounding electrostatic system to try STAX SRS-3100. For the asking price, the STAX SRS-3100 offers a very impressive sound quality.

So just how much is Edifier asking for their premium S1000DB Multimedia Speakers? Well the S1000DB is currently their flagship bookshelf model so it does feature a rather high price tag and do be more specific they currently retail for USD349.99 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for 399.80Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de). The real question is whether or not the S1000DB is worth their money and the answer is a definite yes. The only problem for some people may be the light wood used which may not blend in with their TV sets or desks but other than that since build quality and audio clarity/accuracy/detail are near excellent and volume levels are very high the S1000DB are well worth our Platinum Award.

For RM199, the Edifier R1000T4 is a pretty hard decision to make, especially when Edifier has the Edifier XM6BT which sports a lot more features and great sound for just RM40 more. It does have the upper hand in terms of design, and will look right at home anywhere with its classic aesthetics, but it is definitely a difficult choice if you want to have Bluetooth connectivity to use it with your latest smartphone, or just need more low, deep bass for the current crop of music. I award the Edifier R1000T4 our Bronze Pokdeward.

Overall the speakers are a fantastic piece of equipment. They made my past S530D sounded dull and muddy. Any new house should be equipped with a proper stereo setup and this is a good startup for a tv console setup. Maybe a tad overkill for a home pc setup but no harm as they are good close field speakers too.

Would I buy these? In a word yes. With many options out there it's always a tough pick so do your research try before you buy and see what you like but if you do end up with these as a decision I can't see many people suffering from buyer remorse. These are an incredibly well rounded pair of speakers and with the diverse range of functionality, practicality, sound quality and aesthetics you are in for a solid purchase.

The Edifier MP233 is one of the best Bluetooth speaker that I've ever used. Its features are speedy and work great, it sounds magnificent, and most importantly - it's inexpensive.

It’s difficult for me to express in words how the Edifier S350DB sound. For me it’s perfect with the amount of bass, crystal mids and effortless highs. I must reinstate that I am not sugar coating this review, but the speaker did extremely well and surpassed all my expectation in audio. Compared to the XM6BT, Edifier S350DB totally leaves it in the dust. If we were to pit it against the OPPO Sonica which I also had the opportunity to review, it doesn’t stand a chance at all in a big room against the Edifier S350DB.

Overall – 9/10, So to sum up my impressions, the R2000DB is a very appreciable improvement over the R1700BT and a strong performer in its price range. Whilst the price is considerably increased, Edifier definitely make the jump feel and sound worthwhile. The raw power, the feel of the housings and to a lesser extent, the feature set and inputs have all been remarkably improved. Versatility is also broadened to compliment similar improvements to the sound; now both more resolving and far more impactful. The R2000DB are definitely a speaker to watch in the $400 AUD price range.

The R2000DB features a classic design with side panel in glossy piano finishing. Delivers powerful audio for PC, gaming consoles or mini home theatre applications. Connect audio devices or consoles to the R2000DB using the RCA-RCA or RCA-AUX audio cables for versatile and dual connection options at the same time. Optical, Bluetooth and dual RCA inputs for connectivity to multiple audio sources. A simple remote control with volume and mute button also accompanies the R2000DB with input selection.

The Edifier R1280t Bookshelf Speakers significantly surpassed what I expected of them. For $100 you get truly great sound quality, build, and design. I mean, really good. Let's go ahead and talk about what makes these speakers so good anyways!

Edifier W800BT Review | Unbeatable Battery Life

Our second Edifier review and it impressed us once more. Very long battery life that can last you a week of activities and it lightweight for travels. All this under RM200 (on lazada). Another audio review by Calvin Pixels.

These are definitely my favourite of the Edifier speakers I have tried so far, there is nothing that I can fault them for. The S1000DB are a solid pair of bookshelf speakers that are easy to connect and use, with excellent aesthetics that will suit any room and most of all produce a perfect, high-quality sound (at least to my ear!).

The Edifier S1000DB is actually a pair of active speakers designed to give you that big hi-fi feel with features that are more suited to the 20-teens. i.e. simplicity and Bluetooth. Simplicity because the ‘active’ part means there are no separates. Everything is in the speakers. You plug them in, pair your phone and off you go.
