All in all, if you’re looking for a cheap and reliable keyboard and mouse set for just casual play, I would definitely recommend getting the GK1100. Sitting at RM89.90, it does pretty well with what gamers need considering the price tag.

Noctua's NF-A12x25 - Magic on Radiators!

As someone who regularly modifies speakers, swaps components and tries all the snake oil, I was pretty surprised that these speakers made me happy. They just don’t do anything wrong. You pull them out of the box, pair them with Bluetooth on your device of choice, and you have great audio. Are they perfect? Maybe not, but they are made so well that spending extra money for upgrades or modifying them would bring you immediately to the point of diminishing returns, and in my book that means that the S350DBs are very, very good at what they do.

After one long evening under the spell of the Stax system, we went off to hear a prototype of Sennheiser’s new HE 1, replacement for the Orpheus headphones, thinking they would have quite a job to sound better. The HE 1s were perhaps softer-sounding, while still achieving the same revelations, but really, the HE 1s are likely to retail around $75,000, and the Stax were delivering similar levels of pleasure. Their open leakage makes them useless in a shared room, of course (unless you plug a second pair into the driver). That aside, if you’re after a top-level headphone (or earspeaker, sorry), then you simply can’t NOT audition Stax. We’d recommend taking a nice long playlist with you. Maybe stay the night.

The speakers pack in quite a punch, and the detail available is immense. The remote allows you to adjust between Music, Movie and News (people talking?), and it does not disappoint. The subwoofer definitely adds something that is missing from your usual set of speakers, and if you are the kind of person who likes his action movie, you are in for a treat. Every crash, every slice, every punch and every screech will be there for you to enjoy, and thanks to the subwoofer, feel!
