Have not follow development on Note 2 for quite sometime (due to thread moving too fast hard to follow. )

I wonder what is the latest jellybean (stock) update for Note 2 now? I'm still on 4.1.1 LJ1 as below

its depends on what user needs..

if you don't need internet plan, so YES, buy outright is the best option, no doubt.

but, for example, in my case, my phone is my major source of internet.. i don't have broadband or streamyx at home.. thus, i will buy an internet plan to use on my phone anyhow.. so why not, i paid RM1399 for Note 2 from Digi, paid upfront payment for the bill and i use the internet plan a usual.. RM2100-1399= 700<< that is roughly the amount that i save for the phone, despite of paying the monthly internet bill.
