The problem is the seller has never asked for my I.C. before.
However I did receive SMS from Samsung that my phone is already registered in e-warranty.

I did ask FallenOut before because scared I can't claim warranty.
His reply was:
"as for ewarranty registrations
only needed is imei + phone number + name
full name or just a short name will do

when u go claim for warranty
they will just key in the imei n check
rest assured ur imei is saved in the server
so no problems "

Went to LYP SC today. They didn't entertain accessories replacement without receipt. So, I didn't manage to replace my adapter. Also, they said only cable has ready stock but not adapter. Adapter has to wait till next week.

Ended up jalan2 in LYP, looking for MHL cable. Looks like no luck, only ori but not sure if they are really ori. In those casings shops in LYP... So easy for them to quote me RM 90.

I'll get the 3rd party one from China then.

I wish I knew this earlier.
Cannot enjoy it during weekend. Can only get next week because my office doesn't open on Saturdays.

At least my adapter had no hissing sound when it was in operation for a month.

I just called and they don't keep ready stock for accessories.

You need to expect 1-3 working days for the stock to reach you.

Er. Not sure I'm dreaming or anything but as you guys know my adapter is spoilt now. So, I'm using my BlackBerry charger to charge my Note 2.

Not only it is slow, which I'm very much OK to it. Anyway, I let it charge overnight. But the battery drains faster than when I was using the proper Note 2 adapter.

Just sharing and yes that applies if charge via USB as well.

Slower is fine because I know it is meant to be slow but I feel that my battery drains faster.

Not yet, I will go on Monday to LYP, with a hope I can get it replaced immediately.

I damn like the keyboard that comes with my 4.1.2. Earlier downloaded the 4.2 keyboard but the numbering row was missing. Now it just works very well.

I find the accuracy is not bad. Pretty good when it comes to predict my words.
