With the latest changes (QE tappering, China & India slowing down, etc.), Appreciate your views on

Hwang Select Opportunity Fund
Eastspring Investments Equity Income Fund
AMB Ethical Trust Fund
Areca Equity Trust Fund
AmTotal Return

Kenanga Growth Fund
Kenanga Syariah Growth Fund
Hwang AIIMAN Growth Fund
AMB Dividend Trust Fund

These funds have performanced well over the past 5 years. But with the current global economic changes and uncertainties, can they
still deliver?

I know no one has the crystal ball but appreciate some discussions. E.g., read that there is now a trend to pull out from emerging markets by FF as these markets are slowing down. Thus, funds focusing on emerging markets may not perform like before.

Cheerio.

Agree with your comments.

Just want to add to item (5) that this professional managements charge an annual fee even when the fund is loosing money! That is the main reason why I am staying away from UT. Yes, they need to make a living BUT not when their performance is questionable.

My 3 cents.

Then u shld take charge and U select the funds that u want...based on ur own research.. myself..a 7 year investor and  recently as i posted elsewhere here...i been using this tool - that shows me the top performing funds from UT in malaysia and its a good tool- except u need to key in some information -IF u want to monitor ur own funds...
Yes, my agent still with me and i m happy but some areas i want to see OTHER funds as well..which are not so known,...... but their performances are good infact better some well known companies..

Good on you on your successful 7 years UT investment!

I have more than 10 years investing history and among the different $ making vehicles, I just dislike UT though I did make some money there.

All the best with your investing journey.

Cheerio.
