QUOTE(nightzstar @ Jun 26 2016, 03:48 PM) Guys I received pm from Lowyat forumer regarding this Hello, Interested in an investment that returns 20% on a monthly basis ? And the BEST part is the monthly return directly bank into your account. Maximum investment allowed is RM 4,200. Every month you get RM 760. Can withdraw anytime at only 1% penalty. Meaning, you can try 1 month and still make a few hundred ringgit in profit smile.gif PM me if interested to know more. Anyone know about this? Be aware.

QUOTE(blackseed202 @ May 31 2016, 07:53 AM) well i have about 150k in tabung haji. 30-40k in fixed deposit. and some extra 20-30k for high risk investment. ive tried stock market recently but difficult to do and require extensive research especially if you do fundamental analysis. technical analysis require more time during the day but i am busy working during the day so dont have time to watch the market. tried FA and bought some stock but havent got good enough return i dont think. hm... any other suggestion? i dont really like land/housing investment because i dont like them. haha. Care to share info about tabung haji?

QUOTE(Pain4UrsinZ @ Sep 7 2016, 12:38 PM) hi guys, looking to buy Unit trust fund. i just need to click buy from Imoney then someone will contact and consult me ? anyone using this https://www.eunittrust.com.my? Imoney portal is powered by fundsupermart >> https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/home/index.svdo? I have not gone through Imoney, but I would imagine it'll just take you to fundsupermart. There's an active thread on fund investment, primarily through fundsupermart here >> https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4047177 and all its previous versions Hop over and read/ask questions there. This thread not so active and you may not get timely response Oh, on eunittrust, some people use it too, mainly due to 0% sales charge promo, but I don't like the website and user interface. I find fundsupermart is a lot more informative

hi guys. im new here. i have been lurking around reddit and most of their advice are for US based investment. id like to know if there is any unit trust that has some sort of similar to vanguard investment?
any UT that is based on KLCI index or any other indexes? because i read for a long term, it would be better to invest in index fund since i dont think i can manage individual stocks.
EDIT: its okay guys. just saw one of the other threads saying no index fund in malaysia.

EDIT: its okay guys. just saw one of the other threads saying no index fund in malaysia. Note, even if some are set up, there will be big differences, and they won't work the same way. One, Vanguard does not charge fees to buy and sell. As the USA market is so many times bigger than Malaysia's, Vanguard is HUGE, so more reliable, choices and activity. Very important, the governance is according to local national regulations.

No such thing for Vanguard AFAIK. Anyone can do the same thing e.g. by buying Vanguard VHT Healthcare ETF on the open stock market. However brokerage and foreign exchange X 2 fees apply.
