Hi, im planning to buy a gx56 tomorrow at Pertama Complex. Anyone can recommend me which outlet at pertama that is reliable and offer best price? Also, what to look out to ensure original unit?
Saw a gx56 tdy at one of the normal watch shop, price tag rm699 with 20% disc. Is this price good or expensive?
Thank you!

QUOTE(lokgotz @ Jan 8 2013, 12:17 PM) Yeah, Multiband doesn't work. Not too sure what you mean "wear like a normal G-Shock". It is still a G-Shock so all the shock resist tech and features are in. After reading your post and about 10 minutes browsing for more details of the gw-a1030a-1ajr, i made a purchase for it from rakuten japan. Can't wait to receive it in the next few days!

Bought this GR 7900nv 2dr at pertama complex today. Fall in love with the color. They priced this unit higher due to 'limited edition' they said. I bargained hard. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(rihuhs @ Jan 26 2013, 08:04 PM) mind sharing the price you paid for it? I paid RM389 for my GR-7900KG-3 from G-Factory Fahrenheit88 Rm450 cash. Their price is competitive especially when the uncle owner is around. Shop in front of escalator.

QUOTE(antonio @ Jan 26 2013, 09:22 PM) What is this BS about being limited edition?...like the post above, almost 'all' the shops that I visited yesterday mentioned the GA-110GB was limited edition, limited series, limited this and that....Its not...its mass produced like any other models except the ones that CASIO intend to sell as limited editions that comes with a fancy box or a toy or some fancy colors which has a famous people or characters name... Shops that were mentioning about Limited edition for the GA-110GB, heck almost all shops has that model...whats so limited about it??? Agreed with you and to those who do not know better will easily fall into trap. But to be fair the sales lady is the one who promote limited edition. the shop owner was actually honest and advise buyer to check internet for model listing. He just sell based on his profit margin. I asked about rising red or initial blue edition and they have no clue. Edit: i checked the online seller at lelong, Gpeople & davis, both listed the gr 7900nv as limited edition (LE) model. However non of the press releases by casio mentioned that this model is LE. This post has been edited by matsheikh: Jan 26 2013, 09:57 PM

QUOTE(lokgotz @ Jan 29 2013, 12:14 PM) For limited/special editions, I usually buy from eBay. Most G-Shocks sellers from eBay are from Japan so mine are usually from Japan. I always buy from these two - bitrade and jr-rc but they sell older/vintage models. Not a lot of new ones though. SUPER FAST delivery. Locally, it's Project Hullabaloo for me. I've never bought from G-People or DAVIS but I've heard of them enough to know that they are reputable. The unofficial G-Shock Malaysia FB fanpage had plenty of sellers last time and I bought a huge chunk of my collection from these sellers. Too bad the admin of that page decided to close off comments from other people and only sell their own stuff. Hope that helps. I bought my 30th anniversary mudman from gpeople. Bought it on sun and receive it today. Good shopping experience.
