I walked around SG. Wang, BB Plaza and Fahrenheit 88 yesterday...

Using GA-110GB-1A as a yardstick, I'm amazed of how often shops blatantly put prices on that watch model...

among 20+ shops that I browsed and ask, prices would start around RM799 up to a whopping RM1599...there is even a shop dare to quote me RM2099 which includes another cheap G-shock for free (it ain't free if youre not buying at SRP price) and additional 3 newly sealed batteries to spare.

Only 1 shop (cant recall the name) that puts the SRP price on its G-Shock watches and the GA-110GB-1A in Sungai Wang...The shop displays Micheal Kors watches on its display case in front... Looked at the GA-110GB-1A and.......

BAMMM!!! RM499... And no discount..when ask why there is no discount, the politely put that if no Mega Sale or Christmas Sale or any other type of Sale season, there would be not discounts....even on those season, G-shock only gets like 10% MAX as instructed by Casio MY or the distro.

One shop, a corner shop with auntie in her 50s or late 40s, quote me RM1599 for the watch with 30% off...I ask only 30% ahh...She said if I'm serious she'd throw another 10%...so thats 639.6 less than 1599, which equates to RM959.40 if I end up buying....

Its funny....

I'm not interested in the GA-110GB, however I'm in the market for the GW-1000D Go GFactory yesterday...look over the glass case only....Offered to try, I declined, coz not buying on the spot...Mebbe monday go buy...

What is this BS about being limited edition?...like the post above, almost 'all' the shops that I visited yesterday mentioned the GA-110GB was limited edition, limited series, limited this and that....Its not...its mass produced like any other models except the ones that CASIO intend to sell as limited editions that comes with a fancy box or a toy or some fancy colors which has a famous people or characters name...

Shops that were mentioning about Limited edition for the GA-110GB, heck almost all shops has that model...whats so limited about it???

I agree with your situation...but the others (the ones I asked around yesterday) are truly a joke...not only the sell above list price, they even dare put in outrages claims such as limited edition and what not...

Raf looks nice to collect but I probably settle with 1000D....the non D use normal gshock strap...
