QUOTE(lokgotz @ Jan 29 2013, 12:16 AM) Same here. The Bape ones has pretty fake-ish fonts...Maybe that's why it's so hard to differentiate... yeah. their choice of colour & design somewhat made the original ones looks fake. at first I thought somebody just made them up until I found out that there are original ones that looks exactly the same

QUOTE(snipersnake @ Jan 29 2013, 12:39 AM) Hi Guys. Hope can join your club with my little collection. The first one bought in 1997.decomissioned in 2007...second one bought in 2007... still in active duty until now...the latest bought in 2013..present from my wife for my birthday anyways I am thiking to repair my first G Shock, any good shops? I have taken her to Pertama Complex but they said they cant find the sparepart (faceplate, backplace and the wrist strap) I can't make out what model is that but based on that photo, I doubt you'll be able to find a replacement bezel.

QUOTE(rihuhs @ Jan 28 2013, 05:06 PM) RM410 is a really good price but documentation alone would not be sufficient to prove the watch to be legitimate. but most of the times cheaper price also means the watch is original, but the warranty is not from the official importer/distributor, Marco Corporation and the shop owner must have outsourced them from elsewhere. fake G-Shocks is very easy to differentiate since they are very poorly made, plus sometimes they're produced the ones with colours that's not available in Casio's catalog if yours is a GA-110-1A then it should look exactly like this: also, here's some examples of fake G-Shocks: *beware of eyesore* » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « and here's a good example of build quality, as shown with the original (top) and fake/replica (bottom) of the model GA-110A-4 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Our contact shown us on last weekend, there is no way can differentiate original or fake GA now. They already got some fake stock from the market looks and works 100% like original. Not sure what is their next plan to stop this.

They already got some fake stock from the market looks and works 100% like original. Not sure what is their next plan to stop this. previously GA-110 & GA-100 are some of the easiest ones to differentiate since the small indicator on fake ones are not functional, just being there for looks haven't encountered the ones that you mentioned, but surely worried about it. next time I'll be sure to only get my future G's from legitimate sources

QUOTE(rihuhs @ Jan 29 2013, 01:06 AM) maybe you can try bringing it to a G-Factory outlet and ask them whether they can have the parts ordered speaking of which, I was planning to restore my DW-6600 but always forgot to bring it to them QUOTE(lokgotz @ Jan 29 2013, 01:08 AM) I can't make out what model is that but based on that photo, I doubt you'll be able to find a replacement bezel. thanks guys. Its a DW002. Last time it looked like this : I replaced the things before but it was done by a shop in Pertama Complex..tooke them a month to do it..but now they said they cant do it anymore, i guess my best bet is with g factory

QUOTE(antonio @ Jan 29 2013, 01:22 AM) Is this the model with the vibration feature??? Yes it is. Well I think it is, based on the 'Vibration' wordings on the watch itself. If you can read Japanese, the press release is here. Maybe there are more info in the press release. http://www.casio.co.jp/release/2013/0123_GD-350/

For new collectors like you, the best is to buy from G-Factory. If you prefer to by online, try http://projecthullabaloo.blogspot.com/ . They are based in Johor and very reputable. Their prices are quite ok too. Some of their models are slightly more expensive but some are a lot cheaper than what you see in the shops. A lot of forummers but from Hullabaloo.

Any other from lelong or mudah shops? heard G-People got a lot of positive feedbacks.... For limited/special editions, I usually buy from eBay. Most G-Shocks sellers from eBay are from Japan so mine are usually from Japan. I always buy from these two - bitrade and jr-rc but they sell older/vintage models. Not a lot of new ones though. SUPER FAST delivery. Locally, it's Project Hullabaloo for me. I've never bought from G-People or DAVIS but I've heard of them enough to know that they are reputable. The unofficial G-Shock Malaysia FB fanpage had plenty of sellers last time and I bought a huge chunk of my collection from these sellers. Too bad the admin of that page decided to close off comments from other people and only sell their own stuff. Hope that helps.

I bought mine at rm299. I saw at some store rm400.yesterday I saw at times square rm599.
Another model, online can get rm280-300. At store, rm349 or higher
