hi all. I need a build a pc for light gaming (FIFA games, NBA & etc), mostly for downloading movies and photo editing. Budget would be around 1.5k to 2k, without monitor. Might get a 21.5" monitor later.

Any suggestion for this build? I would prefer a AMD pc. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. But how about if I want a AMD build?
*
Replace it with FX6300 + MSI 970A-G46. You may need bios update first.

You can take HD7850 (*Optional HD7870 XT and GTX 660 above*). Should boost the game detail to high or max.

Hi there, i have some questions.

-Do Jayacom help us to build the rig as well?
-Should i get the best GTX660 or a Leadtek GTX670?
*
You can ask them to build it for you. GTX 670 is more preferable than GTX 660 if you can afford it.

If you can live with low graphic detail, yes. If you use many program, 60GB SSD is not enough. Better save some more and pick 120GB SSD. Else just stick to this build.

Thank you sir. Only problem left is monitor/kb/mouse.

Sorry, i though it excluding monitor/kb/mouse while you means including. Re-edit my recommendation. Mouse+Keyboard should cost additional RM30.

QUOTE(akib_mullen @ Feb 19 2013, 12:02 AM)
can someone suggest me rig, purpose online and mainly game (especially dota 2). I had asked in someone thread before and this is the config the person suggest (forget, my budget tight, around 1.4k only):

Pentium G2020 RM189
MSI B75MA-P45 RM229
Kingston Value 4GB DDR3 RAM RM79
Sapphire HD7770 1GB GDDR5 RM399
WD Blue 500GB RM169
LiteOn DVD Drive RM55
Cooler Master K280 Casing RM129
FSP Hexa 500W PSU RM160
*anything can be adjusted here?

2 questions:
why the person suggest me to take cpu G2020 instead of i3?
the budget exceed if I want to get monitor, so can suggest cheapest monitor I can get? 19 inch I think good enough for me smile.gif
*
Well if you can consider 2nd-hand part, you probably can get i3 setup.

other question, regarding UPS, if I want to use UPS with this rig + lcd tv + laptop + piano keyboard. How much Voltage of UPS I have to choose?
*
Try getting at least 1000VA and above. This should letting your device run about other 15 min+-.

Can you give me any suggestion on this?

Core i3-3220 Rm344
Kingston 1600 MHz Rm97
WD 500GB Cav.Blue Rm159
Gigabyte H61MA-D2V Rm209
Sapphire 7950 oc Rm1099
Psu silverstone strider 600w Rm279
Casing Xignatek Asgard 381 Rm169
Monitor Lg IPS224T Rm419

Total Rm2775

Budget tight,my budget is Rm2500.
Mainly for max performance of gaming,sc2 n dota2.
*
Take HD7870 XT and 500W PSU. That should lower the cost. You may need to tune down the hardware cuz SC2 is CPU bound game. So an i5 + HD7850 + 500W PSU should be better choice.

Thank you  thumbup.gif

Just realise that I have below item to reuse:

1. enermax eg465p 450w
2. corsair 2gb ram
3. Samsung DVD-RW (IDE)

Is there any motherboard which still have one IDE slot? hmm.gif
*
QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Mar 19 2013, 03:44 PM)
1. Cant reuse, this psu can only support up to 20pin whereby the new mobo nowadays need 24pin.
Not true, you just need to plug it at label no. 1 at mobo atx power socket.

Thank for all the video...

I complete the built... Only don't get the best monitar...

It not so difficult to build the complete rig..

maybe i want to add extra fan like cooling fan ,  back fan & side fan..

i want to ask side fan & back fan which one is for air in and out?...
*
If your buying/used generic fan, usually the front/air in are part with brand label. If a bit expensive one, there are marking at the side of fan outer case.

Just wondering, why nobody suggest MSi Z77MA-G45 RM 289 motherboard instead of B75A series?
*
Its that discounted price? Usually we give recommendation based on retail price. Up to customer side to negotiate the final price.
