My budget: RM3.5k (inclusive Monitor), so I want built a CPU rig at RM3k.

Intel Core i7 3820
Asus P9X79 or equivalent (2nd options Gigabyte?)
Asus ASUS GTX660 2GB D5 192BIT DCII (or OC or TOP) OR equivalent
WD or Seagate 500GB HDD
Kingston RAM at lease 8GB (performance or normal?)
Reuse DVD writer/reader
Casing?
PSU?
22" above monitor (Samsung or equivalent)

Ok now, dilemma comes in. Rough calculation shows my budget is insufficient.

I am a multi-task power user. Use Photoshop, lightroom, engineering stimulation software. I very dislike lag. My 1st and only desktop is 10 years old (abandoned). My lappy also getting lag. I hope can one shot built 1 nice desktop.

I hope I able to play some nice game such as Dota 2, COD, battlefield, NFS etc (Never have a chance to experience them smoothly)

I would like to purchase between February to March 2013

1.) With limited budget, which options shall I sacrifice? Processor i5&i7 a lot difference?

2.) Advice on the PSU

3.) Advice on the RAM (size, speed, normal/performance)

4.)I planning to wait for the launch of Haswell processor but my bro's laptop was damaged by thunder.
a.)Is Haswell really worth to wait for?
b.)Will i-series processor price being pressed down a lot if Haswell being launch? *I plan to save on budget by getting cheap i-series processor after their price drop.
c.)when is the estimated time for to get Haswell processor in Malaysia? very expensive since it is new?

5.)Recommended Rig built shop.(at lowyat plaze or others)

Sorry for the long post. I am interested with PC but recently really don't have time for it due to interest in photography and Final Year Project.
