*out topic for a while

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820104360
Kingston HyperX Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model KHX16C9B1BK2/8X

25.99 * 3.1 = RM80 + RM25 postage.

Is this a good deal ? Or a value ram is sufficiency for a gaming rig ?

Value RAM is good enough actually.. currently selling for RM57 a piece for DDR3 1333Mhz.. save your $$$ for something else cause RAM speed will not yield significant performance for normal usage

But the RAM looks so a$$ kicking. sad.gif Better stop viewing newegg deal. Poison a lot.

UPDATE: Received the invoice from newegg, RM102.50. It's cheaper than value RAM. Should I buy it ?

Yeah, he means your Sapphire "normal" HD7950(since there are no "OC" suffix in its name). Or did normal version come with dual x cooler?

hey sifu, thinking of getting a budget gaming rig. Budget is around 2.2k. looking at I5 3470 and also prev gen nvidia gtx 560 graphic card.
is the graphic card adviseable for the price/performance. I understand the card is around RM600++, is there better options for graphic card at this price range?

You can get a HD7850 2GB.... or if you want to sacrifice the CPU... you can possibly get a HD7870...
