QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ May 14 2013, 03:18 PM) First of all, do you have a pair of high-quality speakers/headphones? It's pointless to have one if yours is a crappy one. Labtec Pulse 375 2.1 Yesterday I just discovered my Audigy 2 ZS got problem (suddenly no sound, game freeze follow by continuous beep sound, reboot system stuck at bios screen |

First time rig suggestion request! Not very up-to-date with latest and the most current builds so trying my luck here.
[Budget] RM5k max [Purpose] PC Gaming [Hardware that will be reused from old rig] Mouse (hahaha. no, seriously) [Game or software that I frequently run] Sleeping Dogs, Dark Souls (2 hopefully), Dota 2, new games on above average settings. [Personal Preference Brand] None [Location] PJ Go crazy! |

Should I go for ASUS or Creative? based on my experience on- Creative x-fi xtrememusic - Creative x-fi titanium (non-HD) - Asus xonar u1 - Asus xonar dx I personally prefer the sound produced by creative cards but dealing with Creative driver is killing me.. while the DX is quite good for that price which is cheaper than the titanium IINM nevertheless, you do need to have a set of good speaker to fully enjoy the sound magic |

Almost no different in terms of performance for normal use so just get the highest capacity you can per stick so that you can upgrade more in the future |

Speaking at Intel’s Developer Forum in Beijing, Kirk Skaugen, general manager of the PC client group at Intel confirmed the processors will start shipping in Q2. -http://www.itpro.co.uk/desktop-hardware/19655/intel-haswell-release-date-and-specs I'll wait it out, then! QUOTE(marfccy @ May 15 2013, 12:58 AM) +1, takes more than a month IMHO, as soon as they arrive prices are jacked up to take advantage of early adopters so it's usually best to wait until the price has stabilized before buying... there is also the question of drivers and software utilization to use the new tech effectively |

Performance difference between ram in dual or single mode is very minimal, most likely the capacity of it plays the main role for multi-tasking or programs. |
