Hey everyone, new to the class but not the game.
Just dinged 70, and I'd like to get to Torment 1 (and above) as soon as possible. Did a test run but obviously my present gear (no legendary items, all unremarkable yellows) was not good enough so I dropped down a level and am doing act 1 bounties (for ROG and upgrades) for the time being.
From what I've read the spec for a new WD is typically guided by the legendaries found (which helm, tasker & theo or not, jade set or not, etc) correct me if I am wrong.
However, before one of those "name" items is found, what spec did you guys use to make the most of the gear you have and to push into T1 runs?

QUOTE(Sabenarian @ Jun 16 2014, 04:45 PM) I suggest to use good old Zombie bear build...with rare gears u can do till T2 I think, depending on your item stats.. also I tested running pet build with rare items, OK-ish for T1-2 also.. For RORG ring, I suggest you to join Split Farming Community and do it on NORMAL... I got 2 good rings yesterday (enchanted and put on my female barb) from 30-ish bags (20s at morning, 12s at evening) Thanks for the feedback! Wow okay will look at the community, thanks!

Tried the build, it's a lot of fun! Some practice to line everything up with the nado and then unleash the bears, but it's all good. Now just need to upgrade my gear to a decent level Are any of the crafted legendary items worth trying out?

QUOTE(Sabenarian @ Jun 19 2014, 10:56 AM) can share your profile? Aughild set (bracer + Shoulder) is very very nice to craft.. Err a bit premature to share it, only played an hour or so since hitting lvl 70.. so my gear is pretty horrendous still even with the "work in progress" label Ah ok can try and craft the bracers and shoulders!

Okay, played another hour over the weekend, can show my weaksauce gear now http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/minori-1796/hero/48735139Thunderfury dropped. STR Thunderfury (where.is.the.smartloot.lol). It's on my barb MH now since I reckon it would be a bit "wasted" on my WD (since WD has class specific weapons that it would prefer, iirc). TF = best for barb or crusader? Thinking of reforging the elemental damage to bonus dmg vs elites or a flat damage % increase. Any advice? This post has been edited by sunblaze: Jun 23 2014, 12:25 PM

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/minori-1796/hero/48735139Currently farming coop games with a baba and a crusader in T2. T3 seems to be a bit difficult due to survivability being... inconsistent (i.e. doing a rift = there is a decent risk of dying a few times each rift). All it takes is packs with brutal affixes I'm left backpedaling a fair bit, maybe dying a couple of times. Particularly the Act V stuff. Any suggestions on what can be done to improve (to put T3 on steady farm)? This post has been edited by sunblaze: Aug 16 2014, 03:46 PM

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Aug 18 2014, 09:00 AM) The rule is, let your machai do the dirty jobs. You should be do fine up to T5. You just need to craft some gears, i.e. Aughild's, Cain's etc. I see... okok, thanks for the tips! Will look into that

QUOTE(Sabenarian @ Aug 18 2014, 03:39 PM) Pet WD is not hard to gears... onli "mandatory" gear is Mask of Jeram: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/mask-of-jeram-3OrCkW (u need this for efficient farming T4+).. spent all your blood shards on helm until u get one (or play with other WD or Rift it Forward) yea been gambling for it a LOT.. no luck so far (instead got the set item MoJ 2x zzz). Also got Carnevil, so gonna use that for the time being until I get lucky with the MoJ.
