Wonder if anyone is interested to form loot-sharing parties. I need Zuni Mojo (and maybe ring) as well as Jade shoulder.

This is how I do it. Beginner approach.
Mentally categorise mobs. Useless trash (scorpions, bile crawlers etc) locust swarm -> wait for it to spread -> harvest or just walk away, they will die. Big trash (Golgor etc) p-do -> haunt once, it jumps. observe where it doesn't go to, haunt the remainder -> harvest Normal champ packs - p-do -> apply haunt -> s-walk -> harvest High HP champ packs - find clickables -> p-do -> apply haunt -> s-walk -> harvest For champ packs + trash mobs, if u get enough of them in the area of harvest, u will be able to harvest again immediately due to gruesome fest. p-do activates strongarm bonus. 20-30% sometimes against some champ packs with low hp <500-600mil u don't need strongarm proc also. but all depends on how much damage you do. those with higher +haunt or those who sacrifice some damage for CDR. Have to budget la. |

QUOTE(hfi @ Jun 16 2014, 03:08 PM) The nado is mostly for the damage debuff which will still apply to elites and bosses. You need the debuff to amplify the dots. You could use wave of mutilation but nado works better because the pull gathers mobs and some elites into a ball which will make harvesting and dots spread a lot easier. With bosses it's going to be slow no matter what you replace nado with. Yup, p-do is sometimes the difference between 1 vs 2 shotting or 2 vs 3 shotting.Saves u time and might save u from dying as well This post has been edited by stevie: Jun 16 2014, 03:28 PM |

QUOTE(hvaly @ Jun 18 2014, 01:11 PM) yea.. got my 5th jade set .. You should try playing the Jade spec first will try to use jade set when i am bored with my doggy but i think i will still focus on pet build, due to many comparison done by expert 1. Dps (single or multi) 2. gearing 3. survivability 4. Move around 5. Efficiency 6. Resource 7. Cool down 8. etc etc 1. single target = pets, aoe = jade (even, since each is better at one) 2. 3 pieces = pets, 7 = jade (advantage pets) 3. more meat shields = more survivability (advantage pets) 4. pet docs can use hexing, jade docs cannot (advantage pets) 5. solo pets > jade, and both viable in groups (advantage pets) 6. neither build has resource problems (even) 7. jade is way more reliant on resetting cooldowns than pets, which makes them more gear dependent as well (advantage [due to not needing the affix] pets) 8. on paper it looks like pets are better... but really it's just personal preference (as has been said) since both are very viable solo and in groups and last one to add on by me 9. lazy/less click build - advantage pet, ur main char just move around and avoid hit, get loot, no need so attentive and tired to think when to cast soul harvest XD But if the pet doc has SMK, I think jade will slightly under perform, depending on team composition. 100% BBV is too strong This post has been edited by stevie: Jun 18 2014, 04:42 PM |
