got +45% zombie dog damage today .(+15 from shoulder, +15 from mojo, +15 from jade chest)... now my puppy can do lots of damage (already got +97 jeram, tnt, tmf), after Harrington - can reach 160m per bite if critical ^^ - fire burn for 20m/sec too but not really happy cause end game build for wd still jade >< pet build still not recommended, still stupid AI sometimes

ya i feel that too .. best if in a team got a pet wd and a jade wd .. clear mobs super fast,
if can combo with supporting monk, then it is the best !! T6 mobs like taufu ~~

yea.. got my 5th jade set .. will try to use jade set when i am bored with my doggy
but i think i will still focus on pet build, due to many comparison done by expert
1. Dps (single or multi) 2. gearing 3. survivability 4. Move around 5. Efficiency 6. Resource 7. Cool down 8. etc etc
1. single target = pets, aoe = jade (even, since each is better at one) 2. 3 pieces = pets, 7 = jade (advantage pets) 3. more meat shields = more survivability (advantage pets) 4. pet docs can use hexing, jade docs cannot (advantage pets) 5. solo pets > jade, and both viable in groups (advantage pets) 6. neither build has resource problems (even) 7. jade is way more reliant on resetting cooldowns than pets, which makes them more gear dependent as well (advantage [due to not needing the affix] pets) 8. on paper it looks like pets are better... but really it's just personal preference (as has been said) since both are very viable solo and in groups
and last one to add on by me 9. lazy/less click build - advantage pet, ur main char just move around and avoid hit, get loot, no need so attentive and tired to think when to cast soul harvest XD

QUOTE(hfi @ Jun 18 2014, 06:24 PM) I've played both pets and jade, and i am still enjoying both builds. Coming from barb, WD has been a breath of fresh air for me. The diversity in play style is immense - pet doc plays like a summoner, where as jade plays like a nuker. And then you have the likes of carnevil, buff station, and controller builds. I don't necessarily think one is better than the other. Both builds have its merits and weaknesses. I personally feel the contrasting nature of both builds is what makes the WD class rich in depth and fun. Why choose one over the other ? My barb would kill for such luxury. I switch builds depending on my mood and if and when the group requires me to change my build. Nothing worse than running with 2 pet docs resulting to a massive pet traffic and your big hot dog staying idle at your side. ya totally agree .. both build also fun and viable in end game T6 so i might create 2 wd, one focus on pet, the other on jade ... switch to other when i am bored .. they forgot to mention one big weakness about pet : noob AI/stuck AI/ traffic jam

i got both pet and jade build wd ..
jade build i feel it is not so powerful in greater rift > 35 and above ... reason : u cant one nuke kill them anymore .. even u can reach 600m per nuke =.=, and survivability is very vital in greater rift (save time and repair) however pet wd is still useful to farm riftstone in T6
mayb i should try back pet build now ...
