2 viable builds, C4 dogs or bears (perma-bears with infinite mana)

C4 dogs has the highest damage.
C4 dogs build has its shortcoming as compared to bears.
It's not cheap. It has rather short range damage radius. It has lower survivability (as you can't have spirit vessel passive, generally).

Personally, I'd suggest you go for bears build.
Bears build is a lot cheaper. Awesome damage (800K-1M for my build).
(just a note. you don't need mojo if you go for bears build. Just a skorn with LS will do. You'll save some gold there).

haha... if you just starting WD, 100k dps is good start.. can farm act I MP7 with it (with good EHP).. but some will suggest you to use skorn for low budget WD (i'm 1H + Mojo WD btw

for actI farming, the requirement is not much... If u see my videos, 150k-ish DPS can kill ActI elites quite fast.. my stats at that time: http://d3up.com/b/1156200 snake is good if you already have pickup on gears.. but make sure buy snake with Mana regen... and snake always come with bonus vs elites and WD skill bonus too..Im using frog bcos it solve my pickup issue.. so I just focus EHP and DPS on other slots..

WD is the easiest class to play.

You only need 2 skills.
Other slots, you just use any skills you like.

You don't need set gears like Zuni's or Jade's to do T5/T6. 
You can use crafted gears and you can do just fine.
