Paper DPS is not good for WD.
I used to have 200K paper DPS. I had to change all my gears for bears and C4 dog build.
The real damage is much higher than paper DPS.
My C4 dogs build only has 85K paper DPS. 

CC is important. Just that we can't have both worlds, especially I lose 1 ring slot for SoJ.

Yes, I use Hex in key hunting.
It is so easy with WD up to MP8.
You know, it is not easy to facetank A2 key warden, even for barb and monk.
(DH is easy in A2 key hunting because he/she just needs to shoot in long distance. Not really facetank it).

If i do solo, I don't really go lower MP.
MP7 is the lowest I go. I do MP8 most of the time with WD.
I normally spend 20min per run (only for the keys).

mine is 1.17 aps (9% from TWH & 8% from Inna Temp) and i rarely run out of mana (throw Widowmakers once in between bear spam to keep VQ regen up) .. with your aps u might run out of mana 2x faster than me 
imo faster bears on white mobs is wasted as they will die from 1st bears .. it might kill elites/ubers faster IF u can maintain mana  to keep spamming bears which i think is impossible to do unless u stand next to a 0dog WD which grants u mana regen from Gruesome Feast.
try get at least 125x Skorn with min 5.5% LS + 160% CHD ... i'm sure u'll notice the difference ... even ur Widowmaker has more dmg .. not to forget ur Garg will hit harder as well (Bruiser & Restless Giant do 200% of ur weapon dmg)

and u say u do 500k - 1m crits? thats pretty high  with such low min

my skorn (1077-1496) + rings (38 min) + ammy (31 max) = 1115-1527 base dmg
Crirical Hit dmg 413%
and i only see around 500-800k crits ... 600k-1m if i use SoJ during ubers

maybe i should switch to 1h-mojo to see higher yellow numbers   
depend on what mp u r playing also    im quite sure on mp8 n above against RD elites with xtra health@shielding u will run out of mana if u spam bears b4 they die 

haha sure can ... i hardly use my WD eversince hitting PL90 (waiting for 1.07 to go live b4 i start grinding para lvl again for the increased xp per mp lvl)... i use my DH to do ubers now (can easily survive up to mp8) .. my barb for key farm ... only time i use my WD when i do gold farming    but then i use my cheap (won with only 300k bid) 13xx dps no LS Skorn with 29x vit.. lemme know when u want to test the LS SKorn i will loan to u for few days.
