I spent 150 million gold on crafting & enchanting 1 week ago.
I recovered 75 million in 5 days.

Just normal run at T5 (either bounty or rift).

For a start, you can use some of the gears of your Wiz.

Assuming it's flawless royal, it's like 1 time investment.

You can use any skills in other slots.

The rule is, let your machai do the dirty jobs.

You should be do fine up to T5.
You just need to craft some gears, i.e. Aughild's, Cain's etc.

These are the godly gloves.
You need one hell of luck to get those.

Soul harvest is kinda risky job to do.
Doctors are not supposed to expose to such working environment.

I pick pet, any day any time.

It depends on your build.

Pet build, you can go with any gear, including Mask of Jeram.
Your macai still can do dirty jobs without Mask of Jeram.
But of course, it would be good if you have Mask of Jeram, TNT, Starmetal Kukri etc.

Yes, pet build shines because of no cooldown, more consistent damage and range attack.

This is especially when you do the trial grift.
You just can't kill mobs fast enough while your soul harvest is cooling down.

DH is in the top of food chain for a reason.
The sentries can deliver massive and consistent damage over time.

You have other macai to stand up fighting for you.
As I always said, let your macai do the dirty jobs.

Wait Blizz to fix that.

Even the primary skill like spider corpse, with no cooldown and mana cost, can deliver 576% weapon damage.

Obviously Blizz has not fixed WD's other skills but the Jade and pet builds.
For example, 200% weapon damage of Wall of Zombie with 8 sec cool down. 560% weapon damage of zombie charger with 150 mana cost.
Those skills are so out of date.


For your question, I doubt it's worth a try.
Of course, do try and share with us how far it goes.

HenryLow has been missing for months.
And we missed the huge part of information on the builds and gears for WD since WD is one of the best class in RoS.

It reminds me of this guy, tygoh, he got TNT and Magefist back to back from Kadala.
Both are bifecta gloves with kick arse stats. A roll on the primary stat will give him awesone trifecta gears.

Darn lucky.

Pet build is better, just to avoid get 1-shot in high grift.

Horrify is rather short range.
You might get killed in 1 shot if you use horrify at high grift level. No?

For high grift, I think WD is kinda stuck because WDs and their pets are not quite tanky in high grift level (lvl35 and above).
Some even said the pets are easily killed in grift 33.
