I've played both pets and jade, and i am still enjoying both builds. Coming from barb, WD has been a breath of fresh air for me. The diversity in play style is immense - pet doc plays like a summoner, where as jade plays like a nuker. And then you have the likes of carnevil, buff station, and controller builds.

I don't necessarily think one is better than the other. Both builds have its merits and weaknesses. I personally feel the contrasting nature of both builds is what makes the WD class rich in depth and fun. Why choose one over the other ? My barb would kill for such luxury. I switch builds depending on my mood and if and when the group requires me to change my build. Nothing worse than running with 2 pet docs resulting to a massive pet traffic and your big hot dog staying idle at your side.

both build also fun and viable in end game T6
so i might create 2 wd, one focus on pet, the other on jade ...
switch to other when i am bored ..

they forgot to mention one big weakness about pet : noob AI/stuck AI/ traffic jam

speed farm T5 with FL passive is . my careless not read all 2.05 patch changes, onli know about this mobility passive yesterday

Tried the build, it's a lot of fun! Some practice to line everything up with the nado and then unleash the bears, but it's all good. Now just need to upgrade my gear to a decent level

Are any of the crafted legendary items worth trying out?

can share your profile? Aughild set (bracer + Shoulder) is very very nice to craft..

Err a bit premature to share it, only played an hour or so since hitting lvl 70.. so my gear is pretty horrendous still even with the "work in progress" label

Honestly with your low lvl Doc, u found that MoJ yourself or gift from fren? gratz btw

Gear:

1) I assume you already have Aughild plan. Craft Bracer, Shoulders and chest. if u still dont get plan, use any chest with Int, vit, 3 socket and armor.. later stage u might want skill bonus on these piece. bracer need elemental (fire/ physical/poison) Int, Vit and 5-6cc
2) Reroll your MoJ.. I suggest reroll AR to CC (might be pain to get it )
3) Reroll amulet.. AR to CHD. Rerolling legendary ammy a bit painful and costly.. alternatively use rare ammy with Int, CHC, CHD and (vit/ias/elemental/average dmg)
4)reroll AR to vit on Mojo..again if costly, use rare mojo
5) get a rare ring with Int, CHC CHD (avg damge/ias/vit). rerolling your current leg rings not worth it and costly.
6) belt you can reroll skill bonus to +% life if u want

note:
1) with TF you might better using Rain of toad
2) Gargantuan sometime stupid, standing still doing nothing. So u might change it to something else like Mass Confusiion-Paronia
3) Fierce Loyalty passive for mobility.. u can change to other passive like Grave Injustice or Spirit Vessel
4) with homuculus Mojo, you can drop ZD from skill slot.. but dog from this mojo is un-rune.

Thunderfury dropped. STR Thunderfury (where.is.the.smartloot.lol).

It's on my barb MH now since I reckon it would be a bit "wasted" on my WD (since WD has class specific weapons that it would prefer, iirc).

TF = best for barb or crusader? Thinking of reforging the elemental damage to bonus dmg vs elites or a flat damage % increase. Any advice?

If u still have mats and gold, craft Aughild chest to get 3 piece bonus. dont forget about CC on bracer.. also keep doing Act1 normal bounty for RoRG and Scepter http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/mad-monarchs-scepter-2F34bH this weapon is very nice for bear build..
