My 4 michelin XM2 tyres 195 55 15 being used for 4 years @90k+ km, so far so good and satisfy with the performance, time to change, not much tread for both front tyres

That day Continental quoted me for rm190 tyre and rm150 for Viking, Bridgestone quoted rm155 for ecopia

For a frequent highway user like me, putting safety and fc into consideration, which option should i go for? Or just stick with XM2?
*
if u choose continental and bridgestone,be prepare the tyre will wear faster.xm2 is good for long lasting tyre.90k+ lol..
fc consideration i doubt would have much difference.
are 3 are eco tyres category.sidewall of xm2 is harder than continental btw.

Yesterday i went to this shop nearby my house they quoted RM250 for XM2 185/60/15 which im not sure whether its expensive or ok
*
for 15 inch 185/60 should be less than rm 200

juz my quick review, bout this tyre .. durability is very good. really worth money. still using it until now 5 years. performance is quite good, rainy time serve well. comfort? nope. quite hard if ur previous tyre is conti u will fell the difference. overall for me the tyre  is worth.. if  u r think bout money. conti 2 years max , then got side wall swollen "bengkak" my experience laa.
*
compare to continental, they have on of the most comort series comfort contact.usually the tyre soft a bit.

I read that this tyre have treadwear indicator. Where and how to check?

I know the 20 or 50 cent rules but I want to know how to check with the treadwear indicator.
*
and also if the tyre have not reach the indicator, but have wear one side also need to change already.seen some people tyres already wear one side almost bald, but the centre stil got 50-60% therad, they say tyre still ok and fine to use lol sweat.gif

Okay. Thanks for pointing out. But the wear at side, is still looking at the main tread right? I think xm2 has at least 3 deep tread.
*
what do u mean by looking at the main thread?

As in check in highlighted in orange instead of highlighted in green right?
*
oh ya..but the green highlighted part is important too.if there are wear, tyre need to be changed as well.
