Details of the complaint : Kindly refer below storyline.



1. defconkiller open a thread at garage sales , Nov 13 2012, 02:16 PM with title : [wts] olympus xz1 white, rm800 fullset

2. On 18 nov 2012 sunday :

I sms to defconkiller asking is the xz1 still available ?

Then defconkiller reply : yes bro

then defconkiller sent two picture of the camera by whatsapp to my number as he mention the unit is no more warranty as he bought on may 2011 and told me his price would be RM 750 include postage and he said full package but no memory card and casing , but got the pouch if i want it .

then I asking price for RM 700 including postage to kuantan .

Then defconkiller reply : RM 710 including postage deal ? he said at least give him clean untung of RM 700 . then he told me to see his profile , he said that he selling a lots of stuff no complain . as last i agree with RM 710

3. On 19 Nov 2012 monday :

he ask me to banked in to his acc : CIMB 14210067247528 MUHAMMAD ASYRAF BIN AB RAHIM
I banked in RM 710 and i inform him , he told me that he will send tomorrow so i give along my add to him . He said that he will take a picture of the postage before sent it and will give me the tracking number .

4. On 20 nov 2012 tuesday afternoon :

I whatsapp him asked him wheather he send the camera because the whole day he din even msg me , i wait for so long for his reply and finally he replied me : sorry bro . I will send tomorrow by latest cause waiting for the pouch . its with my brother . then he ask me for the picture of the slip i banked in , and i sent to him .

5. On 21 Nov 2012 wednesday :

I keep wait for his msg but he din even reply me again . he replied me at 1.34 afternoon mention ask me to hold on and will give the track number later . a bit bz . Waited until night 9.18 din even receive a msg from him , i started to worried being con . I keep ask him bout the track no and wheather he send the camera , then he replied me with two picture of his camera in box and told me he left the tracking number paper at his office and will let me know tomorrow . he told me that he sent the camera already . I started to can't accept what he did to me as he is not serious in doing deal . I asked him sure i will receive but today because normally pos on day only kl to kuantan , then he reply me : The guy said 3-4 days I din't use poslaju i use normal one . I said what the heck not using poslaju even whole malaysia courier only 1-2 days . And he keep said he sent the camera and will give the tracking number tomorrow . I keep asking what company that he use , he din't even reply .

6. on 22 Nov 2012 thursday - today :

the whole day i msg him called him . not even one reply .....
guys i am so frustrated with him , although RM 700 is not a big amount for you all , but for me i need to work so much just to save money to buy camera for my bro .

sad to hear ur story. i've seen this one too many times thats why i will nv do postage type of deal. even if small amount. i rather pay more to COD

He is still online, have you PMed him to come here and explain yet?

Anyway, give it a few days. If he used Registered post (Posdaftar), it will take a few days to reach your place. It usually takes 1-3 working days to deliver within Klang Valley and can take up to 2 weeks if deliver to East Malaysia.
If he use Poslaju, then yes you should receive next working day if no delay. If he use other courier company, then depends on your luck, some are good some are not so good.

If by next week you still didn't receive, then most likely kena con edi. But now is still a bit hard to say. Sometimes people are really busy or just inconvenient to go post office, then again, seller should be responsible to inform the buyer about it if he isn't able to post out immediately.

How come there is no "Dispute Tag' to warn other unsuspecting members.

Higher up authorities will look into this matter before giving out Dispute Tag. SO give it some time to be reviewed.

I'm really sorry to hear about what happened to you. Here's where he becomes greedy. While he was scamming you on November 19, he was out looking for his next victim shortly after.

He sent me a PM on November 25, asking if I was still interested and offered to lower his price. He PM'd me because I had shown interest in the camera earlier but when he couldn't provide the shutter + flash count, I moved on. Anybody who buys a prosumer camera would very likely know or learn how to track these things. I replied to his PM saying I had already found something else.

I guess he figured he would try to sell the same item as many times to as many people...the greedy SOB!

From my personal experience, and I know this is hard because sometimes the deal offered is very good, but it *really* is better to COD and sometimes pay a bit more than have to go through such a heart-breaking time. We all work hard for our money and I'm still angry that such people think they can get away with preying on others.

Yes , bro you are lucky as i think rather to buy a new one although paymore but safe . Get cheated by this guy he wont live happy because he is wanted . His name , his picture even facebook , he will be more and more popular . This is what he earn !

That kind of police report shows that the police are not interested in your case. So many details left out. Should also report on the police report. Good luck man, but the police just take your case as a statistic and most probably will not do anything to it.
