1. second hand insight is a steal right now in my opinion if you're not too worried over second hand value (what second hand value)?
2. depends on priority? fuel economy & power over blm 1.3 I'm ok. I use stock tyres although prefer downsize rims to 15" and use 175/65/R15 tyres for better fuel economy.
3. Maintenance mostly on CVT. 2012 uplift model onwards should be ok although 2011 is ok if CVT maintenance is regular. Regular here to me means every 25-30k. Normally Honda says 40k but I am conservative as our climate quite harsh already vs Japan or Europe. Engine oil is 0W20 if really want fuel economy.
4. Depends on route and traffic volume. I get 22-24lm/l on Fed-Seramban hi-way (mostly downhill). Otw back to PJ if I skip the jam hours (after 8pm) it's 21km/l average. Otherwise 18-19km/l in start stop traffic. Good driving technique helps extend fuel economy. See Paris Drakkar rally driver's tips on Mitsu Mirage or any hypermiling blog/forum tips.
5. Ride level low. Handling good. Noise intrusion ok vs BLM 1.3 and if you're used to this.

Got my 2012 FL with engine overhauled by Honda Malaysia. One thing left to do is the airbag replacement for the passenger side and a lower bush (kluk kluk sound)

Am pretty happy with the car

Going to sent my car to Kota Bahru SC this Sunday for overhauled. How long it take for your car to complete overhaul?

If your car is a FL Insight and burns oil (makan minyak hitam) - then can request at SC to check.

My car after reach over 130k only the problem occured. Call Honda Malaysia and they asked me to sent my car to nearest SC for confirmation. According to SC... Need too overhaul and I only pay the lubricant and oil only.
