To benchmark your streaming speed to China, you could use MangoTV Service menu as below screen.

Are you using Time? Or Unify? This depend on your internet service provider.

Pls do not confuse between "kB/s" and "kb/s". 1B= 1 byte =8b (bit).

I'm using 5.1 AV receiver as well,  but do not have the problem with 7.1 movies.  Pls share with me how do you upgrade the firmware. You upgrade from which version?  
P/S: There is two method upgrade firmware.

Do you have similar problem with 1.0.7? Pls pm me more detail with your audio and video codec and the movies file name. And email me the sound setting screen capture.

this file... yes, i remember...

audio1 7.1 dolby truehd is problematic - cracking, audio loss, etc.
switch to audio2 or 3, ac3 or dd 5.1, will be ok.

this problem has been brought up before.
i have tried a few dd truehd, some ok, some not for audio.
don't know why, i suspect the "ripping" process for the file missed something.
star trek into the darkness and jupiter ascending are dd truehd, no problem.

never seen this problem with dtshdma.

note: this problem exist on another brand media player of mine too.

if u hv another player that plays that file properly in dd truehd7.1, it would mean the codec is superior to that of himedia.
